the only advantage it has given me is that it opens up sooner than the stock one does...i cant say if it helped or hurt on fuel economy because I installed it early on and never did before/after fuel readings.
I like that it opens early, it does run cooler to an extent but even on hot days I am pushing 195+ f.
if you haven't got one yet i would suggest a PML Powder Coated Low Profile Transmission Pan to hold more fluid and keep the tranny running cooler for towing.
