Get my Truck on Friday

Hi Titan Family,
Getting my new truck on Friday, 2005. I am excited about soon having a real truck. I will keep you posted on how my initial impression is. It is good to have a forum like this. I live in Lawrenceville, IL about 10 miles from Vincennes, IN. Haven't seen but a few Titans on the road around here. Soon to be one more. Take Care

Talking Got my Truck today!

Know exactly where Manteno is. Lived in the little berg of Deselm for two years while in school. Got my Truck today. 2005 XE King cab (red brawn. Modifications by dealer: drop in liner, fog ligts, trailor hitch, Undercoating
Man am I impressed with my truck. Have been reading posts about bad mileage and wondered what to expect. I was surprised. Went 210 miles on
9.8 gallons. If my math is correct that is 21.4 miles per gallon. Either I had a good tail wind or the fact that most of the time I drove around 55 because of two lane highways made a difference. I was varying the speed as my dealor suggested. Stopped by a topper place yo order a topped shell for my truck and dealor there said his buddy had just bought a new Chevy Silverado last month and then test drove a Titan. Traded the new Chevy on the Titan. He said there was no comparing the two.

Congrats on the new Titan! A bit late, But never too late to praise such a truck!! Silly question about your mileage, Make sure you are in miles and not kilometers...LOL. Enjoy your truck,Adam

Just thought I'd toss out my congratulations as well. I test drove a Silverado as well since my family has just always been Chevy folks. It was nice but the Titan whipped it by a ton. You're gonna love your Titan. Best of luck to ya!
