Re: calling all Titans in CO

i dont know what the percentage is but chevys seem to loose a ton of power through their driveline.like i said, my buddy has a vmax and it definitely does not feel like a 345 hp(?) motor.im not into chevy much though so i dont know, ive had a lot of old dodges, and the titan is my first truck.

If he was running low octane fuel that might have done it... The vmax is tuned for premium, anything else and the pcm starts messin w/ the knock retard. I've noticed that in my truck when the gas was at $3 a gallon for reg.

Those are nice times but hard to believe. shoot me a pm with the vid. I'd like to see it. I still haven't heard from any titans in CO. Will check back early in the morn. just wanna prove some people wrong on this site that have raised some Eyebrows and question marks on silveradoss.com that think stock vs stock they got a chance.

Why is this taking up space on a Titan Forum, Do either of you have a titan?

No I don't own a titan. and don't want to either. I prefer faster trucks. The reason this is taking up space in your titan forum is simple.... numorous titan owners on this site think stock vs. stock they have a chance. From a dead stop or not I'm saying a titan would get The only one to reply has been a dodge and some titan in montana who obviously didn't read the thread title. Also, I've seen one titan a couple times close to my house and wanted to see if there was anyone in the denver metro that is on this site especially that titan who i've seen messing with ford rangers like that was something to brag about. still waiting for a serious reply.... from a titan owner.

And yours is? No doubt nissan actually built a stout truck. just a little slower than my chevy, thats all.

Re: calling all Titans in CO

I know japenese vehicles have a rep for great reliability, but on the other side my 95 silverado ran great to 223k w/ heavy trailer use on original tranny and engine. Plus i drive it like i stole it till the day a cam bearing spun. got a new 350 in it... now the tranny's going. get that fixed it'll be good for another 200k.

Re: calling all Titans in CO

the titan is still nicer and handles better IMO. every chevy ive ever drove has sloppy steering and drives like crap. i dont really care about racing in my titan, i just like driving it. if i want to race ill hop in my 71 charger with 425 rwhp.

Re: calling all Titans in CO

try riding in a vmax with manual ride control. (A switch that automatically stiffens shocks for loads, rough roads, or to control body roll on a launch) In the soft mode the thing rides like a caddy.

Here's one, go back to your circle jerk at your built in Mexico Chevy forum.

But if your still need to lose to a Titan to prove your insecurities, head to Texas, there's a few Titans down there that will I'm sure will race you.
