Try again... not built in mexico, atleast mine isn't.

Why would I drive all that way to assure myself of what I already know?

Re: calling all Titans in CO

I can't believe you're not banned yet you ignorant POS. To set the record straight. A guy I work with (typical redneck like you). Decided to take a trip in my titan the other day. He was AMAZED how nice it handled and how much newer everything looks. He has an 05 3/4 ton gas silverado. I lined up with him and it wasn't even a contest. I didn't even post it here because everyone knows that we'll win. Now go back and play with your friends on the playground and leave us adults to continue discussing why in the hel! GM is still even in business.

Re: calling all Titans in CO

Where in Denver are you? I'm in Northglenn. I'm not into racing trucks but if you give me some gas money I'm willing to run my Titan. I'm all stock, I just bought it two weeks ago.

Is your gas mileage that bad? oh well. Is bandimere still open? I don't think so. Will pm.

Like i said before, there is a big difference between the 6.0 in an hd silverado and the one in a vmax or ss. also 3/4 ton wouldn't happen to be much heavier huh? so congratulations on the kill.... nice one!!!
Why do you assume i'm a redneck? Because i like chevy's? but i'm the ignorant one? I guess I should assume your one too since you live in montana. Not trying to get banned anyway, just waiting for someone like evo8 to step up.
Maybe some day I'll ride in a titan and I can agree w/ your red neck buddy but since his is a different truck I doubt it.

Re: calling all Titans in CO

I'm not talking sh*t about the titan's. I actually like the way they look(2nd to my chevy)... different than most trucks. I haven't riden in one yet either to tell how they ride or feel coming off the line. The point is the original idea was to line us up stock vs. stock IN COLORADO thats all. not to start interstate name calling games.

It's cool guys, lets stop with the name calling and just have some fun. We just gotta find a right time and place to do this.

Hey Bro, it's not my gas mileage I'm worried about, truck racing just isn't my forte. You want to race a stock Titan so I'm just offereing but there are certain consequences.

Re: calling all Titans in CO

Wouldn't be much of a race with the EVO. If a stock Z06 has a hard time keeping up with me on the highway, I doubt a truck would want to play.

He has the upper hand here because I'm assuming he's got 340hp/380tq. The SS does have more power then the TItan. Will see.....

Re: calling all Titans in CO

I'm in Colorado....... Am I into racing? Not really. But it seems like you're stirring the pot a little too aggressive not to have someone put you in your place. Not talking sh*t, just telling you how I see it. You probably do have a fast truck. I'm not disputing that. Just try to do it with a little more respect, ok? You're not on a Chevy forum, you're in our house. Don't let your ego get the best of you.

I have a few questions: I can't tell from your pic, but are you a full four doors or an extended cab? How much does your truck weigh? (Given someone who is as proud of his truck as you are and you are apparently very knowledgeable about your truck I assume you know your dry weight) What is the vmax rated at? And is that rating at the rear wheels or at the flywheel? And last, are you TRULY STOCK? No intake or exhaust mods? I find it hard to believe that you truly are stock with the way you talk. Now I could be wrong (and don't take it wrong or get bent out of shape).

I guess I have been a little disrespectfull being in a titan forum, but that's ok... got what I wanted. I'll try and mind my manners from here out. Don't want to get banned. to answer your questions, yes full four doors, about 5,400 curb, and its 345hp n 380 ft/lbs at the flywheel I believe. Haven't got it dyno'd yet though. besides added weight of tonneau and line-x(probably around a 100 lbs or so)The only mod i have done to increase performance is a k&n FIPK, although I offered to put the stock airbox and dirty filter back in for evo8, eventhough I don't think it could've done to much for me. Just don't want to give any excuses. will post results after we meet. Where in CO are you? might be meeting evo8 up north somewhere... I'll take two on one!
