I posted this in another thread, but how about you guys getting in contact with Alfred Guillen, who was the winner of the red and black project Titan. Doing a search, the guy (Alfred Guillen) lives in Belton MO south of Kansas City.

Maybe he should be called to see if he would join the KC meet so that everyone could see the truck, especially the seats. Doing a search on www.whitepages.com will get you his phone number.

If you some or know someone who is sponsoring our meet, they have decided to donate something then PM me and let me know. I would like to get a list going.

Okay the next thing is Mods that you have done and would be willing to set up a demonstration for everyone.

Lastly is we have a request for someone who can do a 2* advance on the titans so if you have done it or have the equipment let me know we will set up another spot to do this.

Okay on the 2* advance I have done some reading for the 07 and down we will need the consult II
on the 08 we will need the consult III now what I am told the three is a program only at the dealer since it is new If anyone knows any one at a dealer or someone who can get the programs let me know I will do a couple calls next week and see what I can do around here.

more good news.....just spoke w/ dave, who is the sales manager at McCarthy olathe nissan, and he would be more than happy to help out w/ our meet. im going to be giving him specifics as far as date and time and he will let me know what can be done. i mentioned the interest in doing some timing advances and he said that he does give some car club discounts.

more later, but the ball is definately rolling.

good news..... I called jay wolf in tiffany springs and they said no way... he said find another dealership.

Okay well thats good for the timing advance.

he did not say definately that they would do timing advances, however, he did not say he would not either....glad to see that McCarthy is stepping up and representing us fanatics.

I was at McCarthy Nissan today, and asked my service advisor about the 2* advance. He said he'd heard about it, but didn't know how to do it. I said you do it through Consult III, but he was still confused how to do it. He did say that they would do it if I got him directions....lol.
When is the meet scheduled for, I talked my buddy into buying a Titan and we'd both be up for attending.

Well, my truck sits outside most of the time, and it is a daily driver, needs tires, but if you'll have me I'd love to attend,,,, maybe get some good ideas on wheel and tire combo's.

I'll have to do some digging, I've got a small small list of some titan guys in the KC area. If I find it, I'll send em all emails with the link and info, hopefully we can get several more guys on board. I know I talked to a buddy of mine, but he rolled his titan at the first of the year, so he said he might still show, but doesn't have a truck to add.

If the opportunity for 2* advance is available, I'll get it done. So you can count me in for that as well. Also, if someone is taking a BBQ grill, I'll bring some brats, potato salad and pork steaks to share.
