Re: Feeler for a meet in KC for all the midwest guys

I'd be willing to haul a grill down there. Its not huge or anything, so if someone has a really nice size one, that would probably work better, mines just a 3 burner

Re: Feeler for a meet in KC for all the midwest guys

RFosgate, by 3 burner does that mean a gas grill? If it is then I guess I don't need to take any charcoal. I'll use the charcoal money for Budweiser.
I think I like that idea.

Re: Feeler for a meet in KC for all the midwest guys

Hello Steve... Is there any chance of getting a copy of the Pat Tillman Sports Century you mentioned on a post back on 06-08-06 see below. Iv'e looked for this everywhere and haven't had any luck until I ran across this post and your offer. I hope your offer is still standing?

Sorry to have used this string for this question. I'm just that desperate.

Thanks for your time,

Craig V. Johnson

Re: Feeler for a meet in KC for all the midwest guys

Ok guys, I know its getting close to this meet and all, but I have a small situation. I am setting up a kind of grand opening for my store, to help promote my car audio. There is a new company that is going to open in the next town over, so I had to do it quickly, we are having it on the same day as our meet, June 14th. So here is a proposition. I know we were planning it at the autozone in Olathe. But here is another idea that I would like to throw out there. I have a decent size lot, that I could block off just for titans. We are planning on having a buddy of mine that has a bbq trailer (really good stuff) come and set up for our party like deal. Pretty much everything you would expect at these kinds of things, (gifts, raffle, food (cake & punch too) Now, a mechanic shop down the street just had their opening, and autozone came and gave stuff away and things like that. I'm not against having the Olathe Autozone come set up and still promote their shop here, if they would like. My shop is on the main street in the town, granted its kind of a small town, but we have 10,000 cars drive by per day. So to kind of summarize this whole deal, I was looking to see who might be interested in combining these two events into one. Also being closer, I can talk to Mcarthy Blue Springs, to see about the advance. I have to get my oil changed anyway, so I will be up there. Let me know what you think. I don't mean to try and take away the opportunity from the Olathe Autozone, but I just won't be able to leave here to make it up there. And since I offered the bring the grill and some prizes, I feel somewhat obligated and am trying to come up with a solution.

Re: Feeler for a meet in KC for all the midwest guys

I'm fine with that. As a matter of fact it sounds like a great idea. More reason to gather by celebrating both events.

Re: Feeler for a meet in KC for all the midwest guys

i dont see this as a problem, i just need to get in touch w/ my brother and see what autozone is willing to do since the meet will be "off-campus".
