Re: Colorado anyone?

I probably won't see much of you since I'm down in Highlands Ranch.

Yeah man, five mountain is the way to go. Pass exploration seems to be coming to an end this weekend. Everything west of Vail pass could get up to 10" tomorrow and Sunday. But the end of one season just means the beginning of the next!!!!! Maybe I'll catch you on the slopes sometime, but let's definitely keep in touch and do some wheelin on the next go around.

Have not seen and elk or mule deer yet, but I was chased about 100 yards by a moose this summer. I was riding my mountain bike with my brother and two buddies and we came over a hill and she was sitting there on the trail. She got up and came running, flipped the bikes around and my inner lance armstrong kicked in. She finally took off down a hill. Needless to say it was pretty frightening.

Re: Colorado anyone?

Doing good and I'm now putting more miles on the Titan in week than I used to put on it in two or three months. After 6 years of working from home I'm having to actually drive to work now. Fortunately traffic has been very light.

Last weekend my son and I hiked to the top of Mt Elbert (by Leadville) which is the highest point in Colorado at 14,433' and 2nd highest in the lower 48 states. It was a blast and I beat the ****ens out of the Titan's suspension on the road to the campground. I have never seen so many potholes in a road. The Aspen were turning and we were up there at JUST the right time. It looked like the hills had rivers of gold flowing down them. What a great state to live in!!!

This last week and this weekend are the best time for the changing colors. I was hoping to go up to Breckenridge this weekend to see it all but went to the CU v Texas game instead (which was a disaster haha). I'm glad to see there are some more CO guys who would be down to go wheelin. We should put something together next spring.
