04 Titan
Driving on the highway and the B-LSD light came on and engine and transmission went into safe mode. Was able to limp it to a dealer and these are the code that popped. They are wanting to replace the throttle body and vent control valve for $1100($775 for parts). The truck has 51000 miles and is out of warranty. I feel like I am being ripped off.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Well just posting something to see if anyone has any info on this. I just bought a 06 Titan Crew se 4x4. Skipped out of the Off Road package, didn't think I need all the extras as I will be doing less of the off roading due to the family life. But I Have a question, as a former Chev/Gm truck owner and used to a quiet ride and no front end noise, I am asking if anyone has heard a different clunking noise from the front end when travelling over bumps on a curve? If so I would appreciate some feedback. speeds when this id heard is usually slow speeds.

i recently hit 1000 miles, should I change my oil? manual says no. Also any truth to the fact that if i use a synthetic oil it will void my warrenty.

NO and NO

Dealers send out flyers on a regular basis promoting synthetic oil changes.

And that old adage about changing oil every 1000 miles harks back to the days of non-detergent oil.

We wouldn't do that to you. You get the full 12 months.
