I think I have been misunderstood. If I am specifically asked by ekool, I am willing to moderate. I am not actively seeking a moderator role because I do enjoy the freedom to not be here if I don't want to be online for a while. I am not trying to be a jackas$. My recent behavior has not been conducive to the quality of the forum and I am trying to reform so that I am no longer disrespectful to the other members by slashing apart their technical discussions, buy/sell threads, etc. I was a contributor to the freedom of the SOT forum sloshing over into all other areas of the forum. We never got nasty, or posted nudey pics, but we did thread jack like there was no tomorrow. I had a lot of fun doing it, but I got carried away. That's why I posted my so called interview here for everyone to read. I sold myself sideways so I guess I can see where some confusion can be found.

Hate me if you will, but please don't misunderstand my intentions.

OK everyone, this is getting out of hand. Nominating each other ala a popularity contest is not how this is going to be decided. The adminstrators/moderators are going to select candidates from a list of those we think might make a good moderator. We will then discuss them to narrow the field down and then we are going to talk to those who are left on the list.

I had previously asked everyone interested to PM us and express your interest and some thoughts on why you would want this thankless job and to date we have received 1 email.

This job is not easy, can be very time consuming and depending on the circumstances, can cause you to be distrusted and even hated by the members.

Again, if you want to be a moderator, send a PM to the following list (rrumaner; 37L1; Bayou Titan; Ekool; Castrol) with your reasons for wanting to do this job.

I am closing this thread as it is getting us absolutly nowhere.
