I'm not sure castrol has a Titan either. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on that. I'm not opposed to having a non-Titan owner be a mod. Asl long as they have the ability to be fair and honest, they're fine by me. Take Gearman and Trikky for example. These two no longer own Titans but still contribute to the forum on a regular basis.

for that, we are asking you guys to nominate some new, additional moderators

So please, post in this thread whom you would like to see as a moderator of
your great site. After a couple of weeks of nominations, we will put up a poll
and ask you guys to vote. At this point, I am unsure how many we will add,
but it is clear we need a few more. If you have a specific area you think they

Okay guys... nominate away!!

Castrol Sucks. They're the people that gave us Group III "synthetic".

Does that disqualify me from consideration?

Thanks dudes! I am honored to be nominated. But don't forget that you aren't allowed to pick on the mods, so are you sure you would be willing to give up "pick on Havock 365"?

I would like to see members who really contribute level-headed, genuine, honest-to-goodness, worth-my-while posts be in the positions of authority if they are willing to do it. I enjoy spending time on here and hanging out with everyone in our community, but do you want the town post-whore(s) to police the town?

I feel like you contribute in other ways. For instance, you keep the conversation moving at all times. While this may seem like an easy task to some, if we didn't have people who were willing to post on just about anything to keep the threads rolling, the board could become stagnate quickly.

One other piece of advice: Ask the current mods for their opinions. They know the community well and would give great input. They also know what it takes to be a successful mod.

I wish I had more cool stuff to contribute, but I am really here to learn. That's why I don't mind people asking repeat questions. I try to answer them first so they think I know soemthing!

I definitely think there needs to be probably 2 more mods to help take the load off of 37hellone, Oysterboy and Tigger. And agree that their input should be valued for "responsible" posters.

That's because CaliforniaTitan was the 4th mod before he stepped down. Man that seems like so long ago...
