Yeah, Sandbagger, you definitely fit the moderator profile. Calm, cool, knowledgeable, friendly and you're and oldy! Nothing to do with age, but you have been on the board for over a year so you show longevity.

I think there are a lot of members who would be up to the job if they have the time. I think Akangel would be good if she had the time. A womens presence would be nice.

The list of potential candidates on my list is very long.

What I notice we need the most is someone that is here.

Our Moderators are more than capable of squashing trolls (Darth Tater) and breaking up riots. What we don't have here are enough Ambassadors. People willing to help, to search for new members, to Welcome them. I would like to see maybe an Ambassador title that's not so intimidating for new members. I'm going to say this "California Titan/Chris was a hell of an Ambassador" for Titan Talk.

And Sammy is another one.

I agree 100%.
I'll never forget the time that "California Titan", Pm'd me after another member and I had been going at it all day. He tactfully let me know that enough was enough. He had that ability to smoothe things over and to get your attention without pi$$ing you off.
I'll never forget the night that Sammy had a whole thread closed after I was getting too much grief from another member either. I don't know if he remembers that night or not, gosh it's been almost a year ago I guess. Anyway, Sammy i'll never forget it and I still appreciate you for stepping in for me.

I would have to guess that the poll will be set up in such a manner that a runner up would be nominated in the event that the top candidate could not fulfill the obligations.
