Seems like I've had quite a few posts shut down for one reason or another, usually by way of PM/IMing a mod. The only one I really remember was that member who started the whole thread about "i know how a truck should ride" and had a poll to go along with it. He eventually got pissed off and left for good, or so he said.

Yeah, that's the one.

I can't even remember his name now. He probably came back as someone else by now. I can't see anyone staying away from TT for good.

I sincerely appreciate being nominated as a candidate. I know that some of it is because I have become well known with my recent post whoring, but that is not something that I am proud of. I agree. We need not only moderators, but also members who are devoted to the site. Not so much that the spend all their time here, but when they are here, they do everything they can to be friendly, helpful and courteous to everyone, especially new members. Despite their silliness and admitted post whoring, VShortt and Squid have definitely shown CaliforniaTitan type ambassador qualities to help make this a real community for all members. They have legitimate contributions of worthwhile information while still welcoming new people and routine questions with open arms to make everyone feel welcome here. I can't speak for Squid on this, but I know that VShortt also has dedicated his personal time to help promote the greater good of Titanism and this forum. These are just 2 examples of the kind of ambassadorship I am trying to follow.

As of today, I am going to try my best to be a legitimate contributor to this forum and Titanism as a whole. I encourage everyone to evaluate your posting habits and make sure you are making a valid contribution to the thread where you are posting. Also make sure you post a new thread in the appropriate forum.
