Nissan North America Announces Best-Ever February Sales

Helped along by brisk Titan sales, Nissan recorded it's highest sales ever for the month of February. Here's an excerpt from the article.

Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) (Nasdaq:NSANY) reported84,241 total sales in February, a 2.2 percent increase over last year,making it NNA's best-ever February. The Nissan Division posted a 3.3percent increase over last year, with the division, and severalindividual vehicles, including the Altima, Pathfinder, Murano andTitan, celebrating best-ever February sales. While NNA's luxurydivision, Infiniti, posted a 5.5 percent decrease in sales, theall-new Infiniti M saw record February sales.

I just read a article a couple of weeks ago on this site where they were cutting production because sells were slow.Go figure.

GARDENA, Calif. (March 1, 2006) – Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) reported 84,241 total sales in February, a 2.2 percent increase over last year, making it NNA’s best ever February. The Nissan Division posted a 3.3 percent increase over last year, with the division, and several individual vehicles, including the Altima, Pathfinder, Murano and Titan, celebrating best-ever February sales. While NNA’s luxury division, Infiniti, posted a 5.5 percent decrease in sales, the all-new Infiniti M saw record February sales.

NISSAN HIGHLIGHTS

Beat me too it. Titan sales are up 1.7%, Armada down 21%, probably because of the new escalade/GM models.
Titans outsell Armada/qx long term about 2-1. With the new Armada coming in '08, and the new QX shortly, this trend should reverse and sales come back.
