Hmmm, did you actually get it?
Yeah, the email is incorrect. It should be "survey" instead of "suvery"

Ahh yes...I guess we should use the e-mail address on the forum in the first post rather than the one on the actual form then... re-sent

Thanks Howie

Re: Help Nissan with a survey... win some prizes.

Why would Nissan SUPPOSEDLY contact this forum and ask to complete a survey? THen, they ask questions regarding the Titan (That WE all drive....I mean, THAT is why we're here!) that don't even apply? Like we really have a MANUAL transmission? Come on..

No way I'm filling this out and emailing MY information to anyone other than Nissan directly!!

If it's not Nissan, just tell us!

First, not everyone who is on this forum owns a Titan. All have been invited to participate

Second, emailing "your" personal information is not required, just your screen name.

Third, this was set up by ekool, the site administrator and site owner. Either you trust him or you don't and most here do.

Fourth, no one is twisting anyone's arm to fill out the survey. If you don't want to play fine, but don't be a "wet blanket" for everyone else please.

As far as Nissan contacting this forum, are you sure you are not just being envious because this is through TitanTalk and not CT where you just happen to be a moderator?

also, it is not just for titan drivers. it is a 1/2 ton truck survey. says so at the top.

Re: Help Nissan with a survey... win some prizes.

I would take the survey but I don't like camoflage.......

Whats up Nissan do you only think hunters and red necks are driving your trucks? Not to offend anyone just making a simply statement not depicted towards anyone.

Unless this were a legitimate survey it would have gone to outsourced survey house. Or at least directly to Nissan. I am calling this one a wee bit of BS, Come on Nissan pulling off only one rack for the Titans?

Whats really behind this a dealer posing as a doing a legit survey?

Re: Help Nissan with a survey... win some prizes.

Well if a dieasel is coming out in 07 it would be done by now my guess. they might be looking past the first 07 diesel hence maybe it will have a manual in 07?? Also they may be trying to tailor the needs a bit more as competition will be tight with the new tundra and big 3 incentives(that we saw this summer and probably next year as well). Mayb the tech who wrote the spreadsheet wasn't that intimate with the titan it could have been outsourced to a marketing survey firm and that detail just slipped by it wasn't the aim of the survey only one choice of one question and this may be a quick lets get going deal??

Well whoever it isif they want my input and are gonna give me free schwag thats cool. Hopefully they'll use our ideas to make a killer truck who know maybe it will be th 2010 Huyundai Elephant HD 3/4 diesel dually.

All I know is I suggested they make it with a programmer like hyper tech so you could tailor performance to your needs and it have a real limited slip lockable rearend.

Wouldn't it be different if Nissan came out with a HD but wasn't a titan but another type of strickly HD trucks and different platform. I think they'd get a better share of the market segment with a move like that you'd still get the average joe to buy the titan for apeal of a full size truck and you could goe balls to the wall with a heavy duty line of absolute work beasts. You'd even have carry over from the guys who buy more than they really need but it would make the decision a bit more concise. I think you'd get less people buying a half ton to do 3/4 ton work so hopefully less warranty work for stuff rearends etc(not saying anyone with a rear failure abused their truck) but if you plan on doing the heavy work you'd have to buy a HD truck. Now I am one to push the limits of the half ton always have always will as it is only on slight occasion and I'd expect it to handle it but for someone doing it day in and day out they need to step up and fork over the cash.
