NissanUSA does not care about you unless you have one you will brag about/truck. Mine is a gas guzzling hog that they refuse to address gas mileage issues. My attempts to contact NissanUSA are for naught, they keep telling me the regional manager will contact me directly, that person must be on extended vacation.....anyone want to buy a gas guzzling boat anchor? The dealer is Empire Nissan in Lakewood Co. Does anyone know when the San Antonio plant will be producing vehicles, rumor is a 3/4 ton Toyota diesel?
NissanUSA does not care about you unless you have one you will brag about/truck.
Because of my own experience, I totally agree with you on that one. NO ONE on that end of the phoneline will be permitted to speak unless they have been well trained to handle questions and give specific answers. Like they are coached by lawyers. I'd bet other corporations handle issues they same way, unfortunately.
Submitted. I want a gun rack to go with my new camo
I do hope I win....

Nissan has recently contacted us about conducting a survey with our esteemed TitanTalk.com members as the guinea pigs. We are very excited about the opportunity to help shape potential future products within Nissan and you should be too. Let your voice be heard and at the same time, you might win some cool swag.
What does Nissan have in store for you, you might ask? Well, how about the following:
5 people will receive a Titan jacket, Titan T-Shirt and Titan Camouflage hat.
20 People will receive a Titan T-Shirt and a Titan Camouflage hat.
3 People will receive a Titan Camouflage hat.
3 People will receive a Titan T-Shirt.
Images of the prizes are here, click for full size image.
The survey (an excel spreadsheet) can be downloaded from:
Thank you to the weekend crew who filled out the survey. I'd like to reply to some of your comments:
1) Sorry if you don't like camo. The hats are really nice, a guy I work with got one, so I decided those would be a nice gift. The jackets being camo was just coincidence. The shirts are not camo!
2) I spelled survey wrong on the question sheet. I'm a horrible speller.
3) This is not a professional company doing a survey for Nissan. I work for Nissan and I made the survey. I wanted a fast and simple survey, that's why I used excel. If I had the skills to make a trick web page, I would have. Maybe next time I'll ask someone to do that for me. PM me if you would really like to fill out a survey and you do not have access to Excel.
4) I will check with ekool (the web admin) about any trouble/virus associated with the link. I've downloaded it myself w/o problems.
5) This is no scam. Like I said in answer #3, I work for Nissan, and not a Nissan dealership. I'm sorry to say that I am not in a position to help you with dealer problems. I am in a position to listen to you NOW to help make the Nissan products the best they can be.
6) Some of the questions I asked are universal to all 1/2 ton truck customers. For example, I know that Titans only come with an automatic. I have seen posts from few Dodge and Chevy owners here before, so I wanted to let them answer.
7) Finally, I'll do my best to improve any future surveys Titantalk allows me to post. That's the best I can do. In the mean time, please make any additional comments in the write in questions of the survey. Its your chance to be heard.
Thank you. Your participation has already been great!
Well for those of you who may have had second thoughts about participating in this survey:
I have personally been in contact with the thread starter and can confirm that this is legitimate. This information being compiled is for Nissan and will have some influence on what direction the diesel option may take.
I don't know about you, but the thought that we can have that sort of opportunity, well, it brings a smile to my face and it should to yours.
Remember, this survey is voluntary and you do not have to provide your personal and confidential information. All are welcome to participate and that includes owners of other vehicles, not just Titans.
I know that Titan_Survey would like to have as many people as possible contribute their ideas and desires regarding a diesel option for the Titan. Our resident mechanically gifted members expertise is needed as well. We know who they are, so if you are close to some of them and they haven't heard yet, PM them and get them on it.
This is an opportunity where we all benefit.
Guess I better start saving for this next "mod."
