Re: Nissan Titan making moves to be bigger, bolder, badder

We are testing an 07 4x4 off road today. Should we pass for an 08?

You will probably get a larger discount on an 07, but will have more new features available to you on the 08. More up to you and what is more important to you.

Ghosn and the Titan

Ghosn might kill the Nissan Titan?

Well, I guess it's at least crossed his mind.. and he's even thought about a collaboration with Dodge Ram for a "Ram-Titan" pickup:

"In a Newsweek article profiling Carlos Ghosn, the CEO of Nissan-Renault reportedly hinted that he may kill the Titan pickup. The fact is, it's becoming less and less profitable to compete in a full-size truck segment that's shrinking and becoming more competitive by the day. While Ghosn is far from hammering the last nail in the Titan's coffin, his reported comment simply highlights the fact that a smart company will build what it can sell for a profit."

Re: Nissan Titan making moves to be bigger, bolder, badder

ive had my titan for a year on november 16...i bought it used,i test drove 5 different 05-07 f-150s and there is nothing that could beat the look on my face when i started my titan and drove it off the lot. my EX said i didnt ever look at her like that. my truck has been through some STUFF! ive hit a wall at 75 after a big truck forced me into the median...drove 3 hours home and for a week till i had enough to fix it...rear axle went out...they can make the 08s anyway they want...i wouldnt trade my 04 for anything in the world!

Yeah the Titan is an awesome truck. However the economy sucks right now so there is really no future for the beast.

Re: Nissan Titan making moves to be bigger, bolder, badder

Nissan has made positive comments a week ago, on being able to make the Titan in TN if the Chrysler deal falls apart. There is still a glimmer of hope for the Titan, even a true Nissan Titan.
