If you look at the bottom of the page, you will see a little box with code settings:
vB code is On
Smilies are On
[IMG] code is On
HTML code is Off

Because HTML is turned off, you cannot use the HTML code you listed above. This helps keep the site safe from unwanted HTML code that could cause pop-ups and other junk.

How about a seperate forum for trailor and towing Do's and don'ts and spec's, ive seen alot of these types of questions, most of them get good answers but then some of them.....

it could also include state laws and guidelines to help keep members out of trouble.

you would be surpise at the number of user's that don't know the differance between surge & electric brakes.

BTW great site.

P.S. how about greatest troll hall of fame...... jus kiddin

I know that would be a nice touch. You know what's really funny to me the government gives you a free education then they ask you to fill out their tax forms with poor education.

This is a great forum, but because I spend so much time on another forum I get spoiled by some of its features and there is one we must adopt here as far as I'm concerned.

I can honestly say I never know when I get PMs here. Looking at the top of the page on the right just never occurs to me. My other forum has a pop-up window every time you get a PM, but only when you are logged in. So if you are online and someone sends you a PM you know about it right away. And if you get them when you are offline the next time you log in they pop up.

This little reminder window is not a pain, it can be closed if you don't want to reply to the PM now, or you can expand it and there is the PM for you.

Please consider this feature.

That feature already exists.

Go to your User Control Panel

Click on "Edit Options"

Check the box that says:

Code:
If you are browsing the forums when you receive a new private message, the system can pop-up a notification box informing you of the new message.

v6performance.net has a section under the avatar that is "Ride" where you can put your vehicle specs. Would be a handy addition so that when someone asks/answers a question you can see what it is. It also removes having to put it in the sig.
