Snowless Winter?

Seemed like it snowed every day from October to May when I had to drive my 5.0 Mustang in it. Nothing more embarrassing than getting stuck in your own driveway!

Two four wheel drive trucks now, and we've barely had a dusting.
Have brand new Bridgestone Dueler Revo's on the Tacoma, and I'm dying to see how they do in the snow!

Man I know how you feel. It was a long wait from August until January for the first snow so I could play with the truck.I just knew that since I bought the 4x4 it wasn't going to snow.

EXCRUCIATING!!!!!

Hey TOK..........I put the Dueler AT/REVO'S on my last truck and they lasted 2 years. They were the best I ever had......not too noisy and deep tread. I did not get to try them on snow but they got to work great. I would like to try some on my Titan too.

Tom, I had the Firestone Wilderness on there before, after about 30,000 miles they were so loud it was amazing. If my wife was driving the truck, I could hear the tires humming halfway up the street from inside. I've had the Revo's for about 5,000 miles. Very aggressive tread pattern, but also quiter than the Firestones were new. They were hard to get, I guess because the rating's on them are so high. I went four places that were out of stock, finally stopped in at a Just Tires place near me, and they ordered them and gave me a price lower than the dedicated Bridgestone/Firestone place.

I've used them offroad, and they're good. Great traction in light mud and good self-cleaning. I've also read they last a long time, which is amazing. The stock Wilderness tires were good new, but by 20,000 miles they were noticably worse, and by 30,000 they were shot.

I work outside, so I hate the aftermath! As long as I'm not working and it's still coming down I love it! It's good to get blasted once a year -one of those snows that brings everything to a total stop!

No snow and it's all my fault! Two seasons ago after a 36" snowfall, I bought a snowthrower for the next winter. Well we only got a couple snowfalls but nothing substantial. This year I bought the Titan so I could get out of the driveway and subdivision if it got bad..nothing yet! So, between the snowthrower and the truck I've jinxed it for the whole area. Please accept my apologies and I'm willing to part with the snowthrower to appease the weather god, but I'll be damned if I'm getting rid of my truck!

WOO HOO!!! Snow tomorrow! Maybe 8-10 inches in our area. Should make for a good time playing in the truck! NYTITAN1 you may be getting even more from what I hear from friends in NY. I'd like to hear how that snowplow works...and don't think this lets you off the hook for jinxing our winter up until now. Have fun all!

Tell me about it

I had the 350Z before the titan (actually traded the 350 in for the Titan) and I was getting stuck all over over the place. I don't think there is a worse car in the snow

Now I have the Titan , not an inch
