The Next PA/NJ/DE/WV(!) Meetup...

Hey guys,
I know that we're just cooling off from the last meet up, but I figured I should throw out some ideas while everyone is still checking out our awsome pics.

I'm thinking of some possible events for next time:

1) Camping Trip - buzzkillwill came up with this idea, and we are thinking either http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/statepa.../caledonia.aspx
or maybe
http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/statepa...ks/shawnee.aspx

2) BBQ & Dyno Day - gr8Titan had posted on the other thread about Dyno prices. I was thinking we might be able to get a group rate if several of us went.

3) BBQ & A day at the firing range (French Creek State Park) http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/statepar...enchcreek.aspx

4) Installs meet up? Perhaps we could get together to help each other do some installs? I'll volunteer to do the tailgate power locks.

(Did I mention I like to eat? Anywhere that BBQ isn't mentioned, you can assume that I plan to try and include that as well).

Any preference? How about August 27th for a day trip meet, or the weekend of September 17 for a camping trip? Any interest in doing two? One each month?

I'm in for both just let me know if its family, or just for the boys. Wife felt funny being the only one there last meet but still had a great time. Steves I'll take your offer on helping install the tailgate powerlock.

Mike,

I thought about bringing the family, but I really didn't see much dialogue from others on that. And two kids riding 2 1/2 hours to do nothing, probably wouldn't have went well.

I'm up for most anything...I'm partial to something more centralized. But I know the dyno thing couldn't be.

Let me know dates and places...

My SO is in Ireland right now, or else I would have drug her along to the park. If it's a camping trip, she'll want to go a long or I'll get skinned alive.

If it's dyno-day or firing range I'm thinkin that's a boy's day out...

No problem. Order your parts and let me know. I could prolly swing by next weekend if you want to do it that soon(23rd). Or you can come over. I'll work for beer either way.
I've got another 14' of loom that I won't use. Just provide the wire and actuator (http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshow...number=330-010) and I'll bring the rest.

Shawnee on August 27th sounds awesome. It's a nice park with plenty of room for different types of activities.

How does this sound to anyone else?

I won't be able to camp that weekend, but I would come out one afternoon. The SO is taking her Motorcylce Rider Safety Course that weekend, and I don't want to be too out of touch...

I wouldn't be looking to camp either. Just a day meet. Don't really care on the date as long as it's a Saturday.

August 27th would be good for me too. Depends on where it is, I'm in Morgantown, WV and as long as it is within a reasonable driving distance for me. I'll keep checking this thread for a definite location. I would love to hear some people's exhausts if they have them (maybe a Gibson dual...).

Okay fellas...

I'm hearing August 27th as a good date.

Now, I would prefer to stay within 2 hours of this region on that date, as I mentioned my SO has cycle class that weekend and I'll need to be supportive and what not.

So let's pick the location for August 27th, and the activity.
