Re: Baltimore Area

Big Rob, Sweet Ride. I like the fender flares and the step, I was thinking about doing those to mine. You have to tell me about your intake and exhaust. What intake, what exhaust and how do you like the truck after those mods. I hear some exhausts are kind of rattly. The word everyone seems to use is drone and I'm not sure what they mean by that? Are those stock wheels?, I have the xe package and the steel wheels so I'm not sure what all the available wheels stock are. Hopefully when it gets a little warmer, we'll get a chance to meet and I can check your truck out more closely and I'm sure I'll ask you a crapload of questions. Did you do your own work?, and if you did, was any of it real difficult, I guess mainly concerning the exhaust. I hope when May rolls around I can still make the Nissan meet in NJ and you are welcome to roll with the rest of us. Thanks for the pics.

Pat.

Re: Baltimore Area

Big Robs truck sounds great. never got a chance to ask him what exhaust he has.My neighbor just put a flowmaster on his and it sounds good as well. yum! capt morgan! what a great drink.I was just wondering where you worked because i work swingshift as well down at sparrows point.

I was going to work the other night and some kid in a civic with an exhaust and aem stickers all over it decided he wants to race me on peninsula . Man,my titan ate that thing alive. He had no chance at all

Re: Baltimore Area

Villinz1, Great story, did you post it in the war stories section yet. Seems like alot of people underestimate how much power these things have. It surprised me when I test drove them. We bottle all the Captain Morgan products including Parrot Bay. We do crown royal, Godiva, Hiram Walker, John Begg, Yukon Jack, Bullet Bourbon and a bunch of others. I work around thousands of gallons of rum and other alcoholic products darn near every day. It's almost as bad as working at a bomb factory. Barrels and Barrels of rum and whiskey in buildings that are 5 stories high. I make all the compressed air, demineralized water and steam and also oil and grease all the equipment and clean most of the parts. The worst part is working on and over and under the bottling lines and all the little bits and pieces of glass. It seems like no matter how clean everything is, there all always little shards of glass. And they always manage to get in your hands, knees and legs when you are on your hands and knees under the equipment oiling and greasing it. I go through more rubber gloves than a surgeon does somedays.

Re: Baltimore Area

Big Rob, Is that the milennium place you see when you look off the side of 695 before you go over the bridge to sparrows point? Or am I way off. Did you install your own exhaust? I do like your tailgate sticker, but I'm more the subtle type. LOL. I look forward t meeting you and seeing all you've done to your truck.

Question Re: Baltimore Area

Pasadena checking back in very late. Sorry it has been soooo long.
I am a recovering transplant patient and it has been hard going at times.

I started this thread long ago with the intention of organizing a user group for
our area. Any interest?

I have a couple of locations in mind in the Glen Burnie/Pasadena area.

1. We need a Group SIG/Name
2. We need a Group Graphic

My suggestions:

1. Possible names: Chesapeake Bay Titans, or Bay Titans
2. Possible graphic: An arial view of the Chesapeake Bay, with
an image of a Nissan Titan superimposed over it

What do you think? Any input/suggestions?

Wes

Re: Baltimore Area

Ooooh hell yes, I'm in..I do like the idea of a group.
I agree a name and logo is needed. CBT is better then BT
How about Charm City Titans? The logo should come after the name is chosen

Re: Baltimore Area

Charm City Titans sounds good. I was trying to choose a name
which would cover our region as a whole and not a very specific area.

I personally like Chesapeake Bay Titans. Lets see what everyone else
has to say.

Re: Baltimore Area

Once a name is designated and a graphic picked we could make up stickers
for our trucks. I believe the Texas Titan guys have done this already.
