After the thread on drag times, I told gr8titan I'd go to the track with him, so we are thinking about going on Monday the 14th. The track is in Atco, NJ. Entry fee is $20 and run as much as the crowd can handle. Helmet is mandatory and can be rented for $10.
Anyone else want to come and join us? They are open from 4-11pm. I'm going to try to get there around 5 or 6.

Directions from Ben Franklin Bridge, Philadelphia, PA:
....Route 30 East (stay on 2 left lanes) to
....Route 70 East - towards the Marlton Circle.
....Route 73 South - towards Berlin Circle
....Go past Berlin Circle and apprx 1 mile - make "jughandle left" unto Jackson Road
....Raceway is about 2 miles on your left side. Entrance is the second gate on the left.
The last Brochure that I had say that they are open Mons, Thurs and Fridays for "grudge" races. Gate opens at 4pm and raceway starts 5-11pm. Anyone interested to join us, please call to make sure the track is open as they run slower on colder days.

I visited their website and they had cancelled Thursdays. They are now open Tuesdays and Fridays 430pm to 1100 pm. I will be there on Tuesday (Nov. 15th) waiting for the gates to open. Steves, maybe the class can be "shelved" just for that Tuesday afternoon. You're a smart guy!! You can always catch up. LOL. RedHotTitan, are you coming? I'm trying to get Buzz join us too!! A road trip on a 'school night' is tough, especially on my birthday.
I'll have to pass too. It's probably 4 hours each way-too far for a weeknight.

But on the other hand, I may bring my "Trump card" (The good friend who's selling me his grocery getting' Buick GN that runs 10.8 with mufflers and street tires) We could spank some good behind of any street pick-up that pi$$e$ him off that night. LOL. And it's not that difficult to get him started too. I'll just tell him some dude in a Black Quad Hemi Ram who claims he can do 13's in street tires is sizing up his Buick. LOL
Went to Atco today and what a bummer!!! Gate opens at 4ish. I was there by 300pm and started to shower, not rain, not a downpour, just slight shower!! Just enough to saturate the track and by 415pm, the track manager decided it was not safe to run. F@#$** is all you hear from everyone there. Well, I saw 2 Titan CCs from New York in the crowd. Well, no show for HemiRamOn20 since $50 was the only thing holding him up and I had a crisp 50 for him if he showed up.
Got to make a couple more attempts before the snow hits ground.
