Yeah Gus, we meet in the parking lot in front of the Diner for like an hour or two or three. Then get something to eat (I love eating) and talk some more. We're not hard core on any schedule or agenda. We're still figuring out what makes a good club for all of us and mainly, just how to have a little fun and excitement.
I'll be PM'ing a bunch of people soon, as many new people have said they want to come, and a few we haven't seen in awhile, may be interested now that it's getting warmer. Several are bringing GF/W to this meet on the 24th. It'll be a good time.
As far as I know I will be coming. Got a kitchen pass. Looking forward to the TA and seeing what everyone is doing to their Titan. I need some more cheap mods for me to pass by the misses.

Hey Blue, have you done the Uprev ECU reflash yet? I know you were getting close? I think I'm going to pull my truck down this week for it if everything lines up today????
No, not done yet. But that is my decision as to what I'm going to do. (I think taxes are going to kill me, I'll know in a few days.) I asked my wife about borrowing her car for a week, and she asked why. So I told her, then she asked is this going to cost more than 39 cents? LOL! Yeah, a bunch more! LOL. I need to go get my ECU P/N tonight and email them to see if they have a match. I did get a response from them last week. So I'm in the danger zone for sure.

Paid for mine this morning and will send the ECU out on Thursday. After talking to Chung I need to run this tank of gas out as much as I can and fill it with 91 or better octane for the reflash since I went with a stock map, a 91 octane and a teen/valet mode since my son will most likely be driving my truck soon??
Hopefully I'll get it back next Monday or Tuesday. I'll let you know more when I do.

Should be good for the next CCT meet though..
Ok, OK, you got me beat for now. I did go get my P/N and Email Matt just before loogging back on. My wife is very forgiving. LOL. I'll see what happens. I requested Stock, 87 and 93 Tunes with Fly by Wire removed, Top Speed of 120MPH, Rev Limiter left in place. Looking forward to seeing your results.

Yeah I left the rev limiter alone also but the top speed will be 140.
Those were the tunes I was originally shooting for as well but Chung repeatedly warned me that the difference between and 87 and 93 tune would be minimal since the tunes best results will come from higher octane fuel.(duhh) I think he frowned on having a tune for daily driving?
Is your guy saying there are significant gains to be had with an 87 tune?? Thats really what I wanted but felt like it wasnt what Chung thought would be very good for the engine if I didnt manage the fuel octane closely. Maybe I should talk to you guy????
I think I can change it if I want right up to the time he gets it??
No, I was told the same thing. I'm just not giving in to there all out performance or nothing desires. An 87 Tune has got to be a significant upgrade from the present 2 degree Timing Advance we have. No Fly by Wire, Adjusted Fuel Curves and Timing too! It has got to be better. We're paying for 3 MAPS. might as well get what "I" really want to try. I wont be disappointed in the end, I'm sure of that.

I took all day to think about it and finally changed my order this afternoon to an 87, 93 and stock tune. I've said before that I have no desire to run the truck on the track and all I really want is more fun during daily driving.
My ECU still goes out on Thursday though and I should get it back on the following Monday or Tuesday??
I got a response from UpRev today. They checked my ECU P/N and do not have a tune available! They requested my VIN to "confirm or deconfirm" the situation. I got it off to them immediately.

Sorry about your luck. Maybe the Stillen tuner will be your thing?? Are they trying to come up with a profile or something?
Chan just called to le tme know he was sending my ECU back saturday delivery....

I cant wait....
Come up with a Profile??? I gave him what I have on the truck now: AEM CAI/TBS/MagnaFlow Muffler Only. I think the Muffler only is the problem. My components are some of the most popular, and best by test done by Shailey.
I haven't heard back from them since sending the VIN info. I'll email again on Monday to verify. I really prefer the UpRev method over the Stillen. Stillen doesn't get rid of the Throttle Fly by Wire. But if I must, I'll reconsider after waiting a few months for the UpRev to be available with my combination.
I'd love to know, what differences to expect in A/F Tiiming problems if any, for not having the complete CAI vs the Muffler only. Spent a lot for the dual tip setup, don't want to throw anything away.

What I meant in my reply by "profile" is something Chan said about providing/generating generic A/F and timing maps for vehicles that are "lightly" modified. I dont know if that will help in your case or not but it was something I picked up in my conversations with him?
I'm still waiting for ecu to get here soemtime today?
I just sent this as a PM to all who ever posted here, I'm going to post it on the other site too.
Just a reminder to everyone who has ever posted on the Charm City Titans Thread, that we are having our next meet on Saturday March 24th at 3 PM at the Blvd Diner in Dundalk, MD. Find the corner of Wise Avenue and Merritt Blvd and you'll see the Diner!
Many have expressed interest in bring spouses and kids to this meet. Everyone is welcome, I hope to be bringing mine too. So, come on out with the whole gang!
I have been doing the Timing Advances for a nominal fee, but have decided to now provide it FREE to anyone who attends the CCT Meet.
I've received such great help from my CCT brothers and sisters, I just felt it was time to add something special to the Charm City Titan experience. Who would like a little free horsepower and torque to go with that dinner at the diner?
Hope to see you Saturday.
Sincerely,
John E.

I plan to be there on Saturday but most likely wont be there at 3. Closer to 4pm.
Just got the ecu back from Uprev but I've only driven about 12 miles on it. So far there is a big difference at WOT in the low end. Havent had time to play with it any more than that. Oh yeah the Teen/Valet mode works well also..

Just read your other post "first impressions". You wrote you hadn't tried the speed limiter, I don't think I ever would!!! 140 may be a ride in the sky if you touch them speed bumps! LOL.
