BTW, Buzz says the meet will be at the Home Depot Parking lot in Frederick. Directions coming soon hopefully, its on the main drag through there, real easy place.

Come on by Steve, it'll be a good time. Didn't know Frederick was so close by! I'll be early as always. Should be for an hour or two at least, especially when we all get to talking all day!

DIRECTIONS FROM BUZZKILLWILL:

Okay gang, I've figured out a good location to meet for the timing advance.

We'll meet at the Home Depot in Frederick, MD which is about 5 minutes off I-70.

The directions to get to it are as follows:

I-70 to exit 54 (85/355)
Once off the highway, you want to go 355 SOUTH.
You'll travel about 3 miles, or so, and it will be on your LEFT. It's across from the Francis Scott Key Mall. (You'll pass a Lowe's on the way, THAT'S NOT IT!!-KEEP GOING!!) You'll turn LEFT at the light to get into the parking lot. I don't know the street name-sorry. But it's easy to find.

The physical address for the Nav'ers and MapQuester's is:
5517 Urbana Pike
Frederick, MD 21704

We'll meet in the lot, close to the road. So, away from the store.
At this point, it looks like 3 for sures, and two maybes, plus TitanBlue.

If anyone else in the area is interested, now is your chance to get this must have mod done. I know a couple other members expressed interest, so now's your chance!
As we get closer, and I get a more firm number, I'll PM all those going, and give my contact info.

The Timing Advance meet is tommorow. We're getting many responses and PM's. Looks to be at least 7 or 8 right now. Started as just a couple people far away that wanted to get it done, so we starting thinking where to meet that anybody could get to. Cost is just 40 bucks.

Just like to post a qoute from Shailey as to the benefit of this Mod:

"9 hp and 23 lbs of torque which also included a 4% increase in a/f ratio. That probably accounted for 2 or 3 hp and about 5 lbs of torque. So the rest was the timing advance." - Shailey.

So ~6HP and ~18TQ for a quick and easy Mod. Come on out guys. Great opportunity to meet others in the area too.

We had a great time, 5 of us total. Got together for lunch afterwards too.

I'll be at the Charm City Titans meet this coming Saturday at 5 PM at the Blvd Diner in Dundalk, MD. Make it out and meet a few other Titaneers.
