One tire seems to have to spin A LOT faster than the other before the system engages, and I just want to know whether that's normal. I'm just going to live with it, ain't worth any more discussion.

Do you have ladder racks and bumper stickers on the tailgate of your truck? I saw a red CC like that yesterday.
no work stuff on my truck. My 08 has the step rails and the hood protector on it and thats it. I have SC tags and a magnaflow exhaust which will give me away. I drive up and down Waxpool and 28.

Re: The Northern VA Meet at the Air & Space Museum at Dulles

Great turnout for the Red Alert Luncheon. 5 Titans/6 Guys, lunched and gawked at Titans from Noon until 3:30. Guys from VA, MD, NJ (really) and a recent transplant from FL. Quite a good meet. Good food too!

Afterwards, it was off to the local dealer for 3 of us. Had a decent meeting with the General Sales manager, and a much better meeting with a Salesman. Hopefully, some good sponsorship comes out of this. I think it will.

We also got to see the new Fold Out Step some have mentioned on 2 2008.5 Titans, it folds out from under the left rear corner of the bumber. Appears to be a totally seperate piece. Good looking, appears to be of good quality. Being OEM, I'd expect it would be resonable. Maybe it can be retrofitted to older Titans? List price was only $225. Hmmm....

Well, let's see what the dealer can do to make this meet, a little extra special. I'll give them some ideas!

Re: The Northern VA Meet at the Air & Space Museum at Dulles

Brown's Fairfax Nissan will be the Official Sponsor of the Meet! I met with the new General Sales Manager, twice today. He was very receptive to the entire idea, and will be meeting with his Parts Dept Monday to determine what kinds of giveaways they can do for us.

Lots of details were worked out today. I'll be posting more details in about a week. I did find 2 good Restaurants for Breakfast and Dinner, almost right next to each other, about 3 miles from the Museum entrance. This is getting exciting!

...I've got to tell you, I went into the Museum just to organize things, but I had to look around...

I'd been reminded of the SR-71 and Space Shuttle being there. But, I'd forgotten the B-29, Enola Gay, is there too. I can't describe how hard that hit me. The significance of seeing such a significant relic, was just breathtaking. I had to stop and think for quite awhile...just had to share that.

Re: The Northern VA Meet at the Air & Space Museum at Dulles

So, I just miossed you the other day, oh well. I'll be meeting you soon enough.

I'll be showing off the WPR Pulleys at the meet, I've got one of the first complete sets!

I've got the World's First Nissan Titan 3 Gauge Pillar installed, to show off too.

Got notice from the Museum, they look forward to our visiting, and we are confirmed for the Docent tour for the first 40 people. But, we can't hold a "Promotional" truck meet on property, meaning having Brown's Fairfax Nissan's display on property. So, I'll get in touch with the plaza management where the 2 restaurants are located, and see if we can get an area set aside and meet there for the first hours, prior to going to the museum. It'll be right outside an IHOP. Big advantage to this is it'll be daylight and better weather possibly for this portion. So, it can be a good thing.

Just hanging out in the parking lot is no big deal, but I want to cordone off an area for safety and convenience. I also want to set up a couple tables for displays and giveaways.

Everything else has fallen into place extremely well! This is looking good...

Re: The Northern VA Meet at the Air & Space Museum at Dulles

I've had request for a couple TB Bypass Mods to be installed (with valves). Don't know when we will fit that in, but expect to see a few on hand. I'm going to be ordering parts Monday, which will arrive Tuesday. Just another added feature!

I'm leaving soon to pay another visit to the sponsor of this event. Weather forecast is no worse than a sprinkle, so we're "good to go" on that. Whew! Several more out of towners have made reservations this week. This has become a hot event! See you there!
