Re: Carlise All-Truck Nationals, Aug. 8-10, 2008

Is it possible to list this event on the opening page? I see that some of the information is outdated, i.e. trip to Air & Space Museum.

Thought this might get some interest from people who may not check this thread.

All you have to do is write to a Mod, and it'll happen. Please do get rid of the Air and Space Museum Ad if it is still there! Hate for somebody to show up a year late! LOL.

Come on guys, rally the troops. remember if you have friends that want to come. we don't discriminate. Frontiers, Armadas, Ford's, Chevy's, Dodge's, Toyota's are all welcome!

NO Ridgeline's..those guys suck

We will be meeting at the Iron Skillet around 7am. Give or take. It is across the road from Arby's. It is part of the Truck Stop (Petro) and has a huge lot.

It's between Rt76 and Rt81 exits.
the map is for Arby's
Google Maps

Anyone coming from the West? Lets figure out a convoy. It's about 3hrs- from Latrobe. I figue on leaving at 4am, meeting at Arby's 6:30-7am.

Oh, it's going to be a lively day. I can tell....

You know what, this is one of the easiest meets in many ways. The attraction is put together by someone else, food vendors all around, and we even have an official tent to hang out under. You don't want to miss this meet. It will be a blast!

Re: Carlise All-Truck Nationals, Aug. 8-10, 2008

Looks like were closing in on 25 for the free tent, one more week to go, checking members location when in threads to let any member know in the carlisle, pa area about meet.
When in a member page noticed the link to "event reminders" under miscellaneous, whats that for? Is there a way that site admin or someone to automatically notify members of these meets? Would be neat to get a email or pm about any and all meets automatically, turnout might be higher. This meet almost past me by, wonder how many other members would go, but just don't know about it. Not every member is on here daily or weekly, just as well still might not see the meet thread, like me...
