Maryland International Raceway March 29th 2008
Hey guys. I am going to MIR on the 29th to Race and look around. This is my first time to MIR. I had already invited a few guys I've know who like to race, for a good opp to hang out and have some fun. The SwapMeet will be interesting for sure. This is a very big track. They race Rockets here sometimes! Parts and Food Vendors will be there, might find some gauges for my Pillar Mount!! Parking is plentiful here too.
I plan on grabbing dinner afterwards. Thought some may be interested in knowing about it though. Gates open at 10, close at 6. I will be there an hour before they open. I'm putting my truck on a diet of less junk, and feeding it some 93 Octane to let my UpRev Tune do its job. Hope to break my old time! 08Tight'n is going to be there too! 2 Titans and counting... Only saw a couple people I know, no Titan owners afaik. Lots of good cars. Fastest speed this season of 204 mph @ 7.01, another 6.95 @ 199. Biggest swap meet they ever had, so pretty decent. I got a brand new 1/4'' Air Ratchet from Snap-On for just 60 bucks! List 300...And a sheet of DEI Foil for 5 bucks.
My touring tires were awful, as I expected. I ran a 16 @ 91.04. I'll be back for the Fall Swap Meet and run again, with different rubber though! Hmmmm..... What is "PT"?
