75-80 Dragway Slips/Video's...

We had a great night. Each of us will post our own videos/pics/slips...

We actually went during a competition weekend which stretched out the time between each run. Not too mention, the Bikini contest which was held in the middle of the dragway.

At the end of the night it was the slips that resulted who had the better times regardless of who won.

Here is a video I put together for each run. I thought I caught all spelling before compiling and uploading but I misspelled Silverado. to myself.
All in all I believe I did fairly well for the first time at the track. My 5th run was the best for me. The TerraGrapplers just would not stick all that well in 2wd drive.

Overall I'm very please with my results with the current mods I have.

Only cause you had one hell of a run that time.. I spun and let off then respun again when trying to get back on it. The Terragrapplers do no justice for traction.

Overall, you had a great run with just the Bullydog GT (87 tune), muffler swap for mods. You have a sick truck...

So, Slip#3 is Twisted times on lane#1 (left side). If you get your reaction time down I bet you could do 14.6x

Reaction time has nothing to do with the ET.

You right, I meant your 60ft ET. But I think you will need Trutrack or something to help you get traction.

Re: 75-80 Dragway Slips/Video's...

Maybe I can just put on one drag radial and see if that helps

Re: 75-80 Dragway Slips/Video's...

I had a great time racing my Titan buddies and a few others. History was made, as this is the first time I've ever been beat by a Titan!

Excuses first, Results second.

I left home late, and did not bring my trailer (My Portable Pit). We were parked on soft ground, so didn't feel safe using my bottle jack to change into Drag Radials, or was lazy, and really wanted to see what it would do with street tires and extra weight of my DR's and 2 tool boxes left in place. I'd estimate I ran an extra 300# by leaving everything in the bed... no Truetrac nowadays either. Gross Weight about 5,500-5,600#. I was not the least but disappointed, and really enjoyed this track. This was my first time at the Historic 75-80 Dragway in (Frederick) Monrovia, MD. Thank you to Layer1 and Twistedfreedom (and nice to meet you GF too).

I was #200 and Layer1 was #203.

Get rid of the stock airbox/K&N and get a CAI. I see you running a 14.5xx with the CAI instead of the airbox mod. If you're an FFV, the S&B will knock off at least .2 seconds for you.

CrossWind more than anything.. The Biking girls where on the side of the burnout section and the wind would take the white smoke and carry over to them.

The last run TB and I had were about 62 degrees at 50% humidity and the trucks had a chance to cool down for about 30 minutes during the bikini contest..

Got to love a 4x4 Crewcab with 300 pounds of rubber total for the tires. Happy with the 14.89

I just haven't decided what intake I want. most likely going with the banks or a custom fabed unit. I'm not FFV either just and 08 with bully dog GT, K&N and muffler swap.
