Sounds great, to have an iPod App! I use the iPod Touch mostly as a PDA, and like the Facebook App better than on a PC.

Verizon blackberries have those two cool maps tho. Who needs apps when there's a map for that?

hahaha, i've had 3 blackberries and just switched to the iPhone... let me tell ya, wish i had switched so much sooner! my stubborness to touch screens prevented that but good lord is the iPhone day and night better than the Blackberry. that and you never have to do a lame a$$ battery pull or reset like you have to do with the blackberries. didn't think i'd ever say this but i do not miss my blackberry and i loved mine too. the iPhone completely makes you forget about anything else its that good. and the endless number of apps is amazing!!! see the light, make the change!

after owning the iPhone for the last month i can truly say the Blackberry is way behind. the processor alone in the iPhone is soo much better than the slow blackberry processor. probably the new droid made by motorola might be good competition but the stable, efficient and fast platform of the iPhone with its thousands upon thousands of apps and ease of use makes it hands down better than any of the smart phones out there.

funny you should make that claim... i had more coverage issues with Verizon over the last 10 years and i can only say that AT&T has been great the first 6 months. plus my bill for virtually the same plan is 15 bucks cheaper and i have rollover minutes. that and my internet is faster. i wouldn't say warp 10 faster but it is faster and since i've switched to the iphone from the blackberry bold it really seems faster. the droid is supposed to be the Verizon iPhone killer, but unless it has the market support the iPhone has with its soon to be 100k applications i don't see it being that much of a factor in the smart phone competition. maybe the new Blackberry Storm2 will be the answer. from what i've seen and read about it on Crackberry.com it works a helluva lot better than the first Blackberry Storm. the Blackberry Storm 1 just got a software update which makes it seem a bit nicer too. i dunno... i'm addicted to my iPhone. i can pull up youtube videos and they load up fast, don't bog and the picture is just about as clear as it is on my laptop. i'm constantly reminded on just how bad a$$ this iPhone is.

I think in MAJOR markets AT&T's service is good. I do a lot of traveling and from people I talk to Verizon's is much better nationwide than AT&T ( I dont want to get into carrier wars ). The new upgrade for the Storm is a blessing. It is much faster now, the storm 2 has WiFi and the screen is now all one ( no buttons ) and that's pretty much the only difference.

You mention 100k apps for the iPhone ( and I've seen that before ) is that really a selling point with people? Is anyone going to honestly use all 100k apps? I'd rather go with a phone that has ones that get used all the time and are usefull and not jus a "App" I looked at the driod, seems like a cool phone but read the "phone" quality sucks which is a killer for me. I'm still up in the air about what to get.. I've heard HTC is making a droid for Verizon and that is one to get not the Motorolla...

the 100k apps is not the selling point but just a mere testament to what kind of market there is for the iPhone. much like the iPod... what isn't iPod friendly nowadays? not only is the iPhone nearly a flawless smartphone but the way you can use it and the options of the numerous applications seamlessly integrated with the phone is amazing. i've had the curve, storm and the bold and none of them compare to this iPhone. carrier wars? LOL... you really have to be one bored douchebag to get into that. whatever works and whatever you like. (just saying in general P'eas, lol)
