It's not much to you but some folks are living week to week or hand to mouth and I bet they don't share your optimism, lol.

The other big problem I have with it is that the whole time the government keeps it it is being eaten away by inflation and if I had to wager a guess, I'm betting they aren't going to pay you interest to make up for the devalued condition of your dollars when they return them either.

Why is almost no one insisting less government, cut the government instead of increasing taxes. When I am low on money I have to make cuts, the government should be the same way. STOP GIVING OUT HANDOUTS.

Yeah, you would think that's the first thing to look at but not if you are in the government.

If you are one of the boys, the first thing you look at is how to get more money from the taxpayers not how to save money, after all, if they cut part of the bureaucracy down to size, that would be an admission and proof that we can live without most of it.

My favorite bit is when they say they will have to cut education and Fire or police support and my answer these days is go ahead, because the odds of me not being able to effectively educate my children, put my own house out if it catches fire or protect myself from harm are far greater than my odds of being taken care of if I give the government all my money and hope they will do it for me.

you are right... doubt they do. some are really hurting... scratching their heads wondering... how am i going to feed my family and continue paying the bills. sucks for this to be happening here at a time the economy is still in the state it is in. even state employees having to take weeks and weeks of unpaid vacation. crazy!

need this economy to pull itself together!

Wow, that guy isn't exactly mister sunshine is he, lol.

I agree with most of what he said albeit in a very dramatic fashion and it's sad that people don't realize the extent that they are manipulated or controlled by the government and corporations but the next time you believe you are in control of your own destiny, try and save some money you worked hard to earn under your mattress or even in a bank and look at the spending power it will have ten years from now compared to today and tell me you control your destiny.

Sure, you can try to invest it, put it to work in a business and so on but the fact of the matter is that the people who control the value of our money and can inflate or devalue it anytime they want to, or invent a new tax to burden us with are the ones really in control and we are mostly just slaves to the inflation they create and the debt they generate so don't kid yourselves.

Yeah, not trying to bum you out but I see the looks on the faces of some of the folks around my middle class neighborhood and you can tell what they are thinking, and it's not hey, I wonder where we can go out to dinner tonight, it's more like whew, it's Friday and I still have a job.

You know it's bad when the government starts cutting hours too because that's the last thing they want to do, after all, it took them the better part of a century to build up this bloated beast and they don't want to see it die now, lol.

I think he's dead on and maybe a little ahead of his time..........
Freedom of Speech is now "limited" and enforced with military weapons against the public probably in every state........LRAD

as far as "opportunities" go, 49 out of 50 states have LOST jobs since the "Stimulus" plan went into effect:
7 Months after Stimulus 49 out of 50 states have lost jobs
Please show where REAL opportunities exist for REAL people?.....not the politicians!
Unemployment now 10.2% that we know of.

Like papa said..........most "NORMAL" folks are living almost pay check to paycheck.....and most likely are spending more than they are making.

Lol, yes, quite the horror film performance and a bit over the top in that regard but from what I have seen, mostly true none the less and as long as the elite control the value of our currency and have the power to devalue it and thereby steal from us at will, they are in fact our monetary masters.

This whole thing reminds me of the Matrix movie and I'm half expecting an "agent" to show up at my door one of these days, lol.

Most of us are nothing more than batteries plugged into the elitist wealth generating machine and if we wake up and unplug ourselves from the grid, it tends to piss off a lot of folks, including those with nothing more than a team mentality who, for no reason other than the fact that they like machines or being part of one and want to punish those that don't follow "the order of things" or perpetuate the motion of the monetary monster.

Well I'm "off-grid" and always have been.....so far the man hasn't walked up my mountain .....woke up to an amazing amount of chem-trails this morning.
I guess they're going to slow torture me. lol

what's up Keeper?!!! long time my friend! we are all slaves to the government! even you... you do afterall have to register your titan, get it licensed and registered and have to renew your plates every year. in every little minute way we are slaves. its just a matter of conforming.
