Wierd day at the movies...

Went to see Jersey Girl today- had the day off, burning vacation days before I lose them- and the strangest thing happened. Partway through the first reel, even before J Lo got killed off, the film major league screwed up. The film was upsidedown, backwards, running in reverse, etc. But the wierd thing was that it was the first showing, like it had come in that way. They gave us our money back, etc, so we were only out for popcorn, etc. (more than the movie )

Also, it was the 1:30 PM showing, and the theater was almost packed. Some kids, but mostly people in their 40's and 50's? For a Kevin Smith movie? Wow, it must have some good press. Scooby Do was sold out for the afternoon, too. That one suprised me, but it is spring break this week. And Scooby was on 2 screens.

I seldom ever go to a movie, always wait for the DVD, but I may have to go see the current Johnny Depp movie "Secret Window" based on the Stephen King book...the online trailer looks awesome...I love the movies that keep ya guessing til the end!

Briarman,
I’m with you; I haven’t been to a theater for quite some time. I wait for the DVD and watch it in my Home Theater.
You can check it out here. http://nytflyt.mystarband.net
