He has 240 or 270 HP or something, I got 305. He also loved the utili-trac and how the back seats flipped up and down. He has a very nice truck and so do I.

Now a guy 3 houses down has a Deep Water Titan, and a guy 2 streets over has a Red Brawn Titan (he's an area fire chief). I can start my own neighborhood Titan club almost.
I know where you can go to get some extra Utili-Track cleats! -Just kidding

I will believe the Ford hybrid when I see one in a real person's hands and on the road. So far it has been vaporware. Same for GM.
The Ford Hybrid Escape was on Good Morning America on Friday morning.

There are a couple of things I really liked about my 01 Tundra that I wish they would incorporate into the Titan.

One was when you opened the hood the grill lifted also (grill is attached). Really great for getting to the engine and cleaning out all the junk on the radiator.

Another was the factory fender flares and mud flaps. Kept all the dirt where it belonged-not on the body of the truck.

Finally, the carpets and floor mats in the Toyota were immensely better, nice and thick. Nissan floor mats feel and look like something you would get at Walmart or K-Mart. Same in my wife's Maxima. And my son's Sentra. Come on Nissan, don't be so cheap!!

But as I've said many times the biggest drawback to the Tundra was THE BRAKES WERE HORRIBLE!!!

Overall the Titan is the superior vehicle. The drivetrain and brakes are incredible and the body style is refined and aggressive at the same time. Problems with the added options seem to be the only issues I'm having whereas with the Tundra it was brakes and O2 sensors. Having a FM reception problem is definately better than poor brakes.

GO NISSAN!!
