What kind of side by side to get?

Ok so my lady wants to get a toy of some sort. She was thinking ATV's but I think we should get a bad a$$ side by side. She said no more than 15 grand though. So I was looking on craigslist and ebay and such at what 15 grand could get. It has to have long travel suspension for sure and I would like it to be pretty quick. What do you guys suggest? I was thinking a RZR, but I found some good looking Rhino's and other stuff too. Used or new? I found some for 15,000 that pretty much has everything that I could want but I would like some opinions from dudes who have experience with some of these beasts. Which are reliable and which are not? Which have balls and which don't? That type of thing.

I saw that. I want something that already has long travel on it so I don't have to blow like 5 g's right after we get it. Those are sweet though.

Re: What kind of side by side to get?

regardless of whatever make, model, brand you decide on you might want to shop around for the next 3-4 months. Here it is march (already) and the atv / utv season is winding down for alot of us. Most people out to the dunes pack their **** away during summer months and hit up the lake so they'll be more likely to sell. Can't tell you how many of my buddies buy and sell depending on season. just my $.02

Good advice man thanks. Although she is looking to buy like ASAP so I'm totally down with that too lol. She trusts my opinion on what to get. I'm going to convice her to get a Turbo'd, long travel RZR haha. I found one for 15g's.

Mine is a KC too. I think the bed is like 6.5' or something. Longer then the crew cab but not the LWB.

Good choice on the Razor, its a sweet machine I love the fox shock setup and the motor seems to have the edge on all the other side by sides. Are you getting the new four passenger razor with the 800 EFI?

I don't think so. I think I'm going to get a used one with lots of the upgrades that I would end up putting on it so I don't have to blow so much money. I've seen ones on Craiglist that guys have 15K invested in them selling them for less then that.
