I have currently been in the Air Force now for 6 years stationed in Fort Riley, Kansas. I am a Joint Terminal Attack Controller or TACP for you Air Force guys. That is similar to the BRT or FO in the Army and an ANGLICO in the Marines. Nice to see so many military here.
15 yrs Army..SSG....27E/35A TOW/Javelin Missile Systems Repairer. Hurt myself on a killer CR250 after getting back from Iraq. Retraining now as a 96H..Common Ground Station Operator..JSTARS. Need that desk job, gonna retire at 37 years old. Gotta love it!
Since I've been a member here I've noticed that there are quite a few servicemen (and maybe some women) on the forum. I figured I'd just run a simple poll to see how many and you can reply and say what your job is or was (for you retired and vet types.) I'll start. Currently I'm at the Army's flight school at Fort Rucker, AL. I'm just a lowly butter bar, so don't be too hard on me.
Sergeant of Marines (E5), 4 years in service. Currently stationed at VFA-106 on NAS Oceana in Virginia Beach. I'm an F-18 Hornet powerplants mechanic (engine mech).

Sammy,
I travel through Daleville and Enterprise quite a bit,so if you pull in
behind a Deepwater KC sporting a disabled vet tag, honk and wave,
cause it just might be me

Will do. There are lots of Titans in this area so I might have a hard time picking you out.
hahaha That pretty Cool Bama Titan.
I've stayed out of this post because I've never signed the dotted line to serve but my paychecks have come from the Army for most of my life and the last 18 directly to me.
My Father retired in 1964 (22 yrs service) as an E-8 Aviation maintenance guy. I work on the Army maintenance contract at Ft Rucker and I've been an Avionics Tech for 7 years and an Instrumentation Electronic Lab Tech for the last 11 years at the Army Aviation Technical Test center at Cairns airfield.
I must say a big thanks to all the guys and gals who have signed the dotted line and committed a portion of their lives to help all the people of the USA and the World.
I have met some of the best people of my life while working and traveling TDY for my Job.
Bama Titan, If you see a white titan honking it's me.
