In the center console in a holster. You don't have to have a ccp for that.
It varies by state- in GA here I think we do. I could be wrong because I haven't done extensive research. And before I get flamed- remember I said I am not carrying at all right now.
I conceal my 9 behind the soda tray. there's this little flip down thing. This way when the cops stop me for speeding they have nothing on me. If they happen too try, and bust me for the copied cd's on my visor, i can pull it out, and have a shootout! I'm not going too jail dammit! I am not! LOL
Well here in fl you don't need one. Other states are different i'm sure. I just bought a .40 sig sauer. Just shot it for the first time the other day. I like it better than the glock.
Beretta 92F. I don't have a ccp as it was pretty much worthless to have when I lived in SC. The laws were written so that there was no real advantage in going through the trouble of getting one. I only carry when on long trips, so it's not a big issue. With the captain chairs I place it in the center console. Some states require that the weapon not be within reach of the driver, but I'm not sure which ones. I need to check AL's regualtions, as they might be more stringent than SC.

Hey, maybe in California. I just read where the cops stormed in and arrested a guy with a video camera in a movie theatre.
Wow, its getting crazy nowadays. I am sure that guys video was gonna end up on kazaa, or another file sharing program. Cops did the right thing.. I watched many of movie before it was even out in the theatres. someone is also gettng into the premiers, and taping, or has a copy of the tapes. Crazy stuff!!
Alot of those tapes are screen copies they send out to the critics and media outlets. The majority of them have a little logo in one of the corners that will move down the sides of the screen after a certain amount of time. Other times whole reels of film are stolen in transit to theatres. I worked at a movie theatre in high school and it was a pretty high security deal when the new reels were dropped off.
Only movie i ever watched on computer that was pirated was terminator 3. I downloaded it in 2 parts. I could definantly tell it was filmed from a theatre. Quality was not good, but watchable. Not for sure the release times from west coast too east coast. It could have easily been out west coast, and not released here yet. I would imagine its pretty close and within days.

Good answer. Most cops I have talked to about carrying such things will
ask the reason why you have it. Don't tell them for self-defense. They
can arrest you for going armed in some places. In Tennessee, without a
carry permit, any firearm must not be accessible to the driver. When I
lived in Virginia, you could have a gun in the car as long as it wasn't
concealed. Not a good idea to make any sudden moves if you got pulled
over, however! Better check the laws before entering any state. I believe
it is Mass. that has a mandatory one year prison sentence for crossing
their state line with a gun in the car, or is that Maryland?
My carry gun is a Smith & Wesson 360. It is a scandium J frame 12 oz. (same
size as the old chief's special) in .357 magnum. The first time I took it to
the range, I had purchased a box of 146 grain Winchester Silvertip hollow-
points. The first shot peeled the skin off my trigger finger. I'm talking blood
flowing. The problem was obviously the light weight of the gun, and the
severe muzzle jump that caused the trigger guard to smack my finger.
I called Magnaport, and they told me about doing a porting job on a couple
of these for Judge Ito. I sent them mine and got it back in about a week.
Made a big difference. Still not pleasant with 357's, but a joy to shoot with
some .38 special loads. I usually carry this gun on my hip in a holster, and
with the light weight it is hardly noticeable. In hot weather I put it in the
gigantic fold down arm rest/storage bin that came with the popular package.
Hell, you can even get a whole carton of cigarettes in there!
Get a permit if you can. I think the cops know you have one when they run
your plate. I got pulled over one night not long ago in my wife's Altima, and
the officer acted like he was afraid to come up to the car. He said to just
show him my license to make sure I had one, and to slow down (was doing
65 in a 45). He didn't ask where my gun was.
I'd be glad to talk guns with any of you guys in the off-topic area. I'll
try to post pictures.
I would hang a .50 caliber machine gun, complete with full belt of ammon in the back window, but I couldn't find a gun rack big enough. Plus the damn tint keeps anyone from seeing it....
