Heck, I can't even use all the rollover minutes I have already, thanks to the way their plans are set up. But a good find. I'm sure I'm the oddball with way more minutes than I can use.
I'm with Carbeaux on this. I have so many dang minutes rolled over I could talk a week straight and still not burn through them. lol
I'm happy with my iPhone 4 on my AT&T considering mine is the only one still on our plan that had the "Unlimited" data before they stopped that offer so I've been grandfathered in and I'm fine with that, I've had no problems with AT&T's service.

These 1,000 minutes cost ATT basically nothing.
It's a marketing ploy to get people to stay on ATT... "Why would I switch now, I just got 1,000 extra minutes!"
Exactly, like some people have stated, they have excess rollover minutes anyway and rollover minutes expire after a year...so it's pretty much a good "free" publicity/marketing campaign for AT&T
