ESPN Football 2k5 comes out a month early and its only 19.99!!!Talk about a steal.I just picked up this game and I been playing for an hour and its just a great game.I recommend everyone to get it especially for the X-Box..the graphics are so amazing that it looks real

I will be buying it tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how it stacks up against Madden. I have been a Madden fanboy for a long time, but I am always open to great games. Like you said, for $20, it is not a big loss. I bought NCAA and it was somewhat of a dissapointment. Gameplay is a tad slower, and it gets repetative. I thought it would be different with the changes, but those get old quick. Hopefully ESPN will get me going and fire me up for the season. As for people worried about the rosters, Madden has gone gold. Therefore, there rosters will not be up to date at the beginning of the season just like ESPN's.

yea i been playin madden since 2002 and every year it just feels the same game but minor graphics improvement. ESPN has finally step up the bat and im not gonna buy Madden this year

Yeah, I have an Xbox so I should reap of the benefits. Redesigned graphics, video halftime shows. I am pretty excited about it. I loved Sega 2k on Dreamcast, but the franchise mode just wasnt for me. That is what clinched me to Madden. The franchise mode was excellent. However, I think ESPN may be just as good or better. One question, how are the Bucs??

Off topic: I bought the AK Rocker chair from Best Buy today to get me prepared for Xbox and NFL season. The chair is awesome and I recommed it to anyone. It was $80, but I think worth it. Very versatile in seating positions, ergonomic, and just plain comfortable. As a matter of fact, my wife will not reliquish it from her butt. I think she prefers it over the $4,000 furniture we bought.

Yeah, I have an Xbox as well, and picked up my copy today.

It is amazing, just unbelievable how "real" this game looks. There must be over 500 player animations including different celebrations, shoestring tackles, clutch catches, etc.

I'm not sure of the age of some of you, but I remember playing Football on the Atari 2600...you know the one. Transparent players, 3-4 per team, utter crap.

It's just amazing how far sports games have come since then.
