Yes, the Dewalt is good under a vehicle because it stands on its battery base and you can twist the head to throw light exactly where you need it.

I've held a Sure Fire before and like it a lot. I have their catalog and was surprised how many different models they make. I haven't decided which model I am going to get for Christmas yet. I like the compact size and the beam intensity of Sure Fires. which model do you have?

Another light that I want is a 12V fluorescent trouble light. It would be useful to plug in the outlet that is located in the truck bed to change flats at night.

I've got the G2 Nitrolon, which is their cheapest. $34 on their site, but
you can find them for a little less if you shop around. The metal ones
look really nice, but I haven't given in to spend that much for a flashlight.

I just bought a neat little level from Sears. Its basically a 3" square bubble with a rotatable angle finder in the middle. Mag base on one side and grooved for round stock. $4.99

Only one day left

Hurry boys, home depot has a $10 dollar gift card for every $25 spent on hand tools. Some restrictions of course but just bought a new husky torque wrench for $55 and got a $20 gift card. Not a bad deal. Ends tomorrow the 17th of NOV.

Harbor Freight now has aluminum jack stands. I will prolly get a pair to keep in my truck box because they are light weight and easy to get out and position under the Titan.

So Bayou "The Tool Man" Titan, what goodies did you get for Christmas? I got me one of those laser levels. Those pliers look cool.

I got a 750 watt power inverter. What laser did you get? There are so many of them on the market it is confusing.

I can't be the only anal detailer around here. My Porter Cable 7424 dual action polisher is my most highly regarded tool...

Last week I got one of those Ryobi air grip laser levels. This thing is simply the greatest invention. No pins, no two sided tape and the thing works upside down on the ceiling. Monday I used it to mark the position of the recessed lighting I'm installing in my wifes Kitchen.

The model is a ELL0001 and I got it at the Home Depot for $40.00

The other thing I got was a Wagner Power Trigger Paint Mate Plus at Lowes. I had to paint a 10 FT high ceiling in my wifes new dining room and this thing worked great. Didn't spill a drop (no paint on me what so ever) and the cool thing about it is any paint you don't use you put right back in the can.
I put two coats of paint on a 16X24FT ceiling in less than 2 hours. No ladders, no drop cloths, no roller pans, and clean up was a snap.Tomorrow I have to primer the walls for her fancy dancy wallpaper. $27.00

I got the el cheapo model that uses two sided tape to secure to walls, I wish I had the Ryobi one like Squid. In fact, for 40 bucks I might just pick one up! The prices on these things sure do vary, I think mine was like $20. It will come in handy, though.

I picked up a new snowthrower last week, not really a tool, but I can't wait to try it out. And I might not have to wait long according to the weather forecasts.

Convertible Padded Creeper

As I was moving things around in my garage this morning I found myself sitting and trying to decide on tool placement. What I was sitting on soon became a source of excitement and I couldn't wait to get on line and share it with you.

If you don't have one of these you're really missing out. They are great for detailing, brake jobs, crawling under your truck or in my case today wheeling around the garage in comfort. Heck buy two and you and a buddy can race. This site has them for $80.00.
