Damn Best, wish you wouldn't have shown me that. I now have the site bookmarked and I'm already doing some research on their o-scopes. I also like the clamp-on meters and the............
Here are some of the links to the Laptop Oscilloscope software I've been researching
Saws are my favorite.
My Gas Chain saw
My Milwaukee Circular
I also like:
22oz hammer
My large screwdriver called the "persuader".
Finally, I also like a snap-on magnetic ratcheting screwdriver, pannel puller, and socket ratchets. Snap-on's the best.

Yesterday I went to one of those travelling tool stores that come to larger cities once or twice a year and set up in a convention or exhibition center. I have always wanted to go to one of these but I always let the opportunity slip by. This one was a Homier tool store.
There were lot of folks there, I bought several things and had lots of fun. I realize that the quality of tools sold there is not top notch but there are some good buys to be found. I bought an O ring assortment kit for $3.00, ratcheting tie down straps for 99 cents each and an AC powered half inch drive impact wrench for only $29.00. It came with a case and four sockets.
I already have a pneumatic impact wrench so this one will go into my truck box and will be used along with my power inverter for emergency roadside use.

I saw your post earlier when it still said Komier traveling tool store and I knew that I had been to one with a name that sounded like that but was something different. Now I see you've changed it to Homier....yeah, that's the one. You ever been in a Harbor Freight store? http://www.harborfreight.com/ There's one here in BR and it's pretty much just a permanent version of one of the traveling stores. I love this place. If you ever need some type of tool that will get only moderate use, they're great. If you're gonna put it through heavy use, I still stick to Craftsman.
Yes, for better or worse, there is a Harbor Freight Tool store a few blocks from where I work. I am going there to buy a lug nut socket to go with my impact wrench that is designed not to mar polished lug nuts.
I have bought lots of stuff from them including my Campbell Hausfeld air compressor.

What I like about harbor Freight is they have special and unique items that you don't see anywhere else.
I do industial maintenance and heres a quick list of tools I use a lot and like.
Knipex pliers, I have a pair of the plier-wrench like pictured earlier and many pairs of the Cobra pliers from 7" to 22". The large knipex pliers (22") are so much sturdier than the "big-azz" channel locks. I use the gear wrench brand ratcheting end wrenches. At work we have seen the non-reversing ones hold up a bit better but as long as you do not over torque them they are great. I use a Pellican brand 4AA powered flashlight, very bright and almost impossible to kill. I have dropped my light from twenty feet onto a steel floor and it worked when I picked it up. I use Harbor freight for big wrenches and sockets. They are cheap and you don'tt feel guilty putting a cheater on them or hitting them with a 12 pound hammer. I use a Fluke T5-1000 alot and it seems a fairly rugged meter.
This is hands down my favorite tool I own. God smiled down on me with this.
CAN you bring that tractor down here to AZ. I need some work done.
The wife bought me an air compressor (and air tool set) for Christmas and I just got around to hooking it up this last weekend. READ: Cleaned the garage enough to set it up. Man how did I ever live without this thing. Paying $.50 for compressed air at the store IS TOTAL BS!!!!!!!! Cleaning off the air filter on the mower, blowing the dust out of different types of equipment, DAMN I really like this thing, (even though it is just a cheap one) it gets the job done.
Also, I kept borrowing my neighbors chainsaw so he called last weekend and told me that Sears had several returned Craftsmen chainsaws for sale cheap. So the wife says lets go look. We do and they have $179 chainsaws for $82. The wife tell me, BUY ONE!! Who am I to question her?? I picked out the nicest 18" 40cc chainsaw with case and took a couple of bottles of lube and oil out of the other boxes per the salesman. Not a bad deal for $82.
I love tools. I'm trying to build a good collection, but just like everyone you have to start somewhere. I really need a good tool chest. I like the SS one at Sams. It's like $600 or so. I guess I am going to have to wait on that on for a little while.

Good tools are a lifetime investment....you'll be surprised how many you've accumulated 20 or 30 years from now.
A couple of sheets of peg board and some hooks might work well for you till you can get a chest...I've got a lot of wrenches hung up...and you can find the right size faster than looking in a drawer.

I am in the process of building a shed. Or should I say gathering the materials. My neighbor got 42 or so (Actual old school, oak) 2x4s from a job site and gave them to me. A couple are unusable for studs but the rest are nice. The thing I like about them is that they are actual 2x4s not 3 1/2 by 1 1/2 He is also going to get me 9 sheets (20' by 3') of metal sheathing for the roof. I figure my total shed will be close to 20 x 20 and cost less than $1000. I am going to attach it to my 24x24 garage. The enclosed lockable shed (storage) will only be part of that about 8x12 or so and the rest will be for my 5x8 trailer, kids gocart, and my SS grill and such.
Anyway my garage was full and now I can walk around in it. Let's just say I am going to have a HUGE write off on nexts years taxes. LOL The peg board is a good idea. I think I am going to get a workbanch once the shed is built and the one I was looking at has a pegboard on the back. Your right, It's alot cheaper than the $600 tool chest and will suffice until I can get the toolchest. What I really need and will probably buy by next week is socket holders, those strips that the sockets plug into and are about $10. I HATE digging around my toolbox looking for the right size socket. It seems like you grab the same one 4 or 5 times

After I complete the shed, I am going to fill the garage with tools If the wife gives me permission or does that old saying hold true, better to ask for forgiveness. LOL
