I often search Youtube for videos of classic performers and then check out some of the covers that others have posted.
I found this guy and thought he did some awesome covers and a few originals.

Yeah, it's a shame the industry is more concerned if the performer fits the "part" than talent.
Here's a little girl down here in South Texas that is pretty amazing. She is 14, in the 8th grade and was separated at birth from her sister. She is self taught with no formal training. I believe she is going to audition for America's Got Talent.
He is a great singer, but because this country is so obsessed with looks over talent, he wouldnt make it in American Idol. But jeeze that guy has a good voice. I wouldnt mind seeing him going on American Idol and trying out though
