Working Out

Anyone on here do any of the beachbody workouts? Like P90X or Insanity. I did P90x a while back and just started insanity and was wondering if anyone was going through it right now. I found when I did P90 it was easier if you had a group of people to complain with when it started hurtin lol.

If you are doing it or have thought about doing it hit me up and well start a group on there. Or if you have questions about starting one let me know, I may not know but can prolly find out if not.

Re: Working Out

I also did the p90x about 6 months ago and I didn't care for it much. My diet was not the greatest so it might had some to do with it. Now I'm back to the old fashioned way swinging weights around.

That's the best way to do it...hit the weights hard!

I didnt like p90x much either. Too much extra gear for me and it seemed like the workouts were kinda sporadic. I seem to like Insanity though, its super fast paced hard hitting cardio. This workout isnt going to get you huge but if you are looking to lose some extra weight or get toned up this will do it.

I wrestled all the way through high school and then did 4 years in the navy and this workout is tougher than anything i did there by far. Thats why I paid the extra money and signed up as a coach, I had friends on the fence and I wanted to be able to help them get started because this **** is the real deal.

Yeah, Coleman is a strong beast, 800 lb dead lift, no problem.

Cutler manages to make 315 look heavy:

Re: Working Out

My only problem with P90x, err my "friends" only problem--was being a fat ***.

I went through the ab workout--about 5 minutes in my abs are cramping and I'm sucking wind to the point of nearly passing out.

So I went back to pushing Iron. Pushing Iron is much more rewarding for us fat guys...err I mean fat guys like my friend.

Yea it's not easy, hell I ain't skinny. But I just push as hard as I can every day and you get better and better.

It's no different than if you went in the gym the first day and tried to lift the same weight as the biggest dude in there, not Gunna happen.

Screw what they can do on the DVD, these guys are like pro athletes. My fat *** does the same exercise at my speed and as many as I can and it seems to be working for me
