And our QB officially is the most efficient passer in the country!

180-251, 2164 yards, 28 TD's and 5 picks. QB rating- 177

He's also ran 78 times for 514 yards for three TD's. Longest run of 88 yards. He has a receiving TD as well

Tell me that isn't impressive for a redshirt freshman

Re: College Football Smacktalk 2012!

I love that excuse!

Mariotta has only played the entire game three times... Imagine if he stayed in? Our average PPG would be like 90

Re: College Football Smacktalk 2012!

Want an impressive stat, for a QB..
Braxton Miller
184 carries for 1,166 yards and 13 touchdowns. We need a new QB and he needs moved to RB lol

Does he ever throw? I rarely see much of OSU's games

Re: College Football Smacktalk 2012!

Not bad... Mariotta have similar yards, but Mariotta has twice the passing touchdowns. What's his completion rate? I told y'all we could throw!

Re: College Football Smacktalk 2012!

Only like 60%. His passing is improving. He's a true sophomore so he has time to improve. Yeah, I was impressed with y'all's QB. He is very calm for a freshman. How well does he do with getting hit? I've only seen 2 Oregon games and it didn't seem like he takes to many hits, at least in those games.

Re: College Football Smacktalk 2012!

When he gets hit or rattled, he is incredibly calm. It's almost hard to believe how calm he is. I used this one earlier but the opening drive of the Arizona State game, he got clocked and fumbled the ball in our redzone. ASU scores. Next drive, Mariotta comes out as if nothing happened and led a commanding drive right downfield. It's like he has short term memory loss or something, it's great!

That pretty damn good. But I take your Marcus Mariota, and raise u one Johnny Manziel.

227-336, 2780 yards, 18 TD's and 6 picks. QB rating 151.2

156 Rushes, 1014 yards (believes he still leads the SEC) and 15 TD's LONGEST 72.

ALSO a redshirt freshman in a tougher confrence. Hahahahahaha.

Hopefully first freshman to win HEISMAN after mauling Bama.

Sorry Storm had to since I really have nothing to say about Bama and will admit we lost

I was going to post the same easier.
Don't forget he broke and rebroke the SEC offensive yards record

Re: College Football Smacktalk 2012!

Imagine what he would do to Tennessee's defense.

The local buzz is that Dooley is just about packed up and getting the next train out of Knoxville.

Re: College Football Smacktalk 2012!

All of those QB stats sounds a lot like Tebow type numbers .... Heisman included

Just thought I'd throw this in there for thought... Who does Manziel have for a RB? I can tell you Mariotta's numbers are vastly reduced because we have so many other weapons that get the ball... Look at Barner, Thomas and Marshall and that's just the RB's...
