Guess they must've been afraid of the paper bullets. There's no telling how many Teachers and kids would've died in a paper spit-wad shooting. I think I must've sent a couple hundred buddies to the ER when we used to shoot them with paper spit-wads in class, and those teachers' butts we shot were never the same until they had several cosmetic surgeries.

Welcome to gun control. I had no idea there was something wrong with a kid having a "paper gun". Guess I better not take a paper gun with me when I go eat school lunch with my 8 year old son.
Perhaps my moral compass is off a few degrees

In all seriousness though, how dare those school employees get on to that child in front of other students. If there is a problem they should have handled it in private and informed the parents as to what was going on. Kids have a hard enough time fitting in and just being normal kids in this piss poor excuse of a society we have created without school officials sticking their nose in everything.
If it is a big deal it needs to be handled in private. If it is minor the should have taken the paper gun and told the child it was inappropriate and taken the time to explain the reasons to the child and parents in private.

Seriously what kinda parents sent their kids to school with a paper gun like that?
This is the paper gun we made as kid and how I teach my kids to make them.

Also I use to make and sell these in school for $.25 a piece.
