Do you guys do SolidWorks? Using that a lot at school... I've used an older version of AutoCad... Hated it.

I support SolidWorks and AutoCAD. SolidWorks is pretty dadgumned impressive, I installed a 3D-Printer onto the Network late last year and the plastic product designs printing out of SolidWorks are impressive. The first print job I sent to it for a Test Print was a small Crescent Wrench, so we had a Plastic Adjustable Crescent Wrench that was printed from SolidWorks.

I have used Solidworks extensively. It is awesome. Designed multimillion dollar machines down to the last nut and bolt with it for years. The R&D facility for the company I last worked for had one of those machines. Talk about instant prototype! It is badazz!

What do you do? (Job)

Solidworks is a competitor of Autodesk. But please don't compare AutoCAD to solidworks. They are very diff tools. The Autodesk competitive product to SW is Inventor. AutoCAD is a basic drafting tool. I've used SW in the past and its strong at doing its purpose built function. So is Inventor.

I can clear up any misconception you may have.
