So I know that most people already have a g-mail account through google, but I have invites and all my friends all ready have an account so since this community is where I got my g-mail account I thought I would return the favor and give my invites out. I have six if any one is interested just PM me with your e-mail address and I will send you an invite.
G-mail is googles approach to e-mail. It offers you 1GB of free storage which is more than any other of the free e-mail accounts right now. The only thing is with g-mail you have to be invited. So far I have enjoyed using it. If you would like an invite just PM me. Thanks. By the way I now have 5 invites left.
The addresses are @gmail.com. It's basically the same as your @yahoo.com account, but it's free and you have 1 GB of storage. If you save all your messages, they are easily searchable.
The downside is that your messages can be (and are) searched and indexed. The way I look at it, big brother can read my e-mail no matter what system I use. I've been happy w/ my gmail addy so far. I've even clicked on one of the ads that show up to the side (they are context sensitive, hence the indexing of your messages) once or twice.

Got it. I have 7 left now. I got a PM from BudmanHemi & ZO_Titan04, too.
Any more takers? I need First Name, Last Name & email address for the invites, thanks.
Apologies to all who have PM'ed me. My internet at home is down and I cannot access email accounts from work, they're blocked. Hopefully, my stupid apartment management will get the LAN fixed today. We are having ice and snow storms that started yesterday so I don't know if this is affecting anything. Thankfully, we haven't lost power yet. So, I get no internet which means no "alone time" at home.
