That is hot... so it this.

Colin Edwards in Germany last year. Loose gas cap lead to this inferno.... he had to bail off at close to 80 mph....

The first is at VIR North, turn 3, on one of my first track days, the second is VIR North turn 4 about a year later, the third is at CMP sandy pits, and the last was at Jennings GP (turn 8?) about a week ago.

The second looks like I'm coming down hill, but the track there is actually pretty flat there. The photographer was up on the hill outside of turn four, so it gives it that wierd effect. It was also pretty cloudy that day, so everything looks grey.

Never been to Road Atlanta, but I'm going there on Nov 20th with NESBA. Looking forward to it, always wanted to go there!

You will enjoy RA. I was going to be there but I waited to late and NESBA's intermediate class sold out. Bummer for me but you will have fun. Just be prepared for T-11 as you crest the hill under the bridge the front gets really light so get as far up on the front as you can... then it is the 3 story drop to the right for the front straight... man I am going miss it. Oh, well maybe I will go up and cornerwork.

You should give them a call, or come anyway. I've always been able to get in on a track day, even on days they were sold out. I usually bring cash, and wave it in from of them like a T-bone steak in front of a pit bull. Ha! 'Money talks,' I guess. Someone usually doesn't show up, or maybe you could get into another group. Bumping up to advanced group shouldn't be a problem for you, your pics look pretty good. I'm in advanced, and I suck! ha!

Sorry for the thread jacking, at least this is track oriented.
