Thumbs up Tool Carrier I Like

I just bought a model #1526 tool carrier made by Custom Leather Craft at Grainger. It was on sale for only $29.99. I really like it and evidently so do a lot of other folks. Two guys checking out of me had one and they were the last ones so I had to order mine over the net.

The carrier has 28 pockets and a cool garage type storage compartment on the bottom that stores a plastic nut and bolt box. It has a removable carrying strap which makes it easy to carry the heavy laden tool carrier a long distance or up a ladder. The multiple pockets allow me to separate metric and standard wrenches. It even has a loop to fasten a roll of electrical tape on and a metal clip so that your measuring tape is handy

Good find. Home Depot did have a nice combo kit with the CLC Tray tote & 33 pocket large mouth tote bag for cheap.

Bayou, that's a way better rig than the zippered "gatemouth" bags from Deluth Trading. I've been thinking of tossing the gatemouth bag for what you just got. Let me know how well it does.

I got the CLC to replace my Gate Mouth. I don't like how I had to hold open the sides of the Gate Mouth to search for things inside. The CLC has an "open" design and you can easily see stuff even before you go after it. I like the vertical design of the CLC rather than the horizontal design of the Gate Mouth. I absolutely love the thingy that can hold nuts, bolts, screws, wire nuts, etc, on the bottom. I like the shoulder strap too. My bag is so heavy that it gets tiresome carrying it long distances. I thought about getting a bag that has a retractable handle like what is on luggage but this type bag is not made for carrying up ladders.
