Unhappy It's official, no NHL!!!!

I know this is off topic, but I have to vent!!!!

I had a deep down hope that they would save the season but it didn't happen

This is just great. Now I have to find a new favorite sport.

Any suggestions?

I'm a huge hockey fan (Boston Bruins) but I'm finding that I don't really miss it all that much. I just can't believe these guys actually think the league can continue to survive with the salaries going in the direction they are. They're all greedy b**tards if you ask me.

GO AVS!!!!!!!

or just don't play

I love NHL in HD but just like the MLB strike in 95 i just don't belive i will follow it as closly anymore. I used to watch baseball a lot but now if I see that it is baseball i turn it off.

I don't care who wins or loses as far as players and owners just that they play.

I speak for me only. If there wasn't any sports, life would still go on. I've never had any interest in sports at all. I'd play it as a kid to pass time with friends but to watch someone else play a game is as boring as watching grass grow.
I'm sure I'm the rare one with this opinion.

Kinda like basketball, ever since Michael Jordan retired and ever since Wayne Gretzky retired, NHL is just plain boring they need to enlarge the rink like they have in Europe and the Olympics aside from dealing with the salary cap which in my opinion is DEFINITELY needed to keep the dumb owners from overpaying astronomical salaries for average joe players. Till the NHL increases the rink size, hockey will always, ALWAYS, be boring!!!!!!!!!!

Being Canadian and hockey being this country's number sport - to tell you the truth with the NHL officially DEAD for the 2004/05 season - I for one really haven't missed it - in order to get my hockey fix, I have been watching and attending more junior hockey games - now those are the players to watch
