Eye for an eye, just too bad they can't kill him twice.

In about 25 or 30 years, he might get executed. California has executed 11 since 1976. Most California death row inmates die of natural causes.

Afraid your right. I'll probably die before he does.

Actually 12, they executed Donald Beardslee in January... after spending 20 years in prison. But who's counting, there's no way they'll come close to Texas in that competition.

Now that's what I'm talkin 'bout! Bring him on over here and we'll fry his sorry a** up right!

Unfortunately even here in Texas, it takes too long to execute death sentences. We may lead the country in executions carried out, but still these people crowd and bleed the prison system for years and years.

What's the current $$ figure for how much taxpayer money it takes to kill someone? Probably more in CA than in TX...

Higher cost of living in CA so a higher cost of dying sounds about right.

Probably still less than feeding them and paying for their cable TV while rotting in prison for 20 years.

Its a lawyer thing. Most of these guys have court appointed lawyers and can appeal for ever. Lawyers make a lot of money. Rember Judges started out as lawyers before they become crooks.

This whole death penalty thing sucks! He was found guilty, he was sentenced to death. Take him out to the parking lot, stick a 45 behind his ear and whack him! How much can that cost??

He should have worn gloves...then they could have used the famous line to get him off.
