I saw this posted on the Web today. I can't say for sure that it's true, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if it is!






Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 500 employees and has the following statistics:



29 have been accused of spousal abuse

7 have been arrested for fraud

19 have been accused of writing bad checks

117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses

3 have done time for assault

71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit

14 have been arrested on drug-related charges

8 have been arrested for shoplifting

21 are currently defendants in lawsuits

84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year

Can you guess which organization this is?

The same group of Idiots that crank out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

Fred - If you will scroll down the snopes.com page you posted you will find it says last updated February 2005. The numbers have changed slightly over the past six years but it's still pretty damn disgusting.

I find it sad that they vote themselves a payraise every year, yet 1/4 to 1/2 of the country is in some type of poverty, yet they say "I have to give myself a raise so I can afford to live in DC." yeah, so they can live in those atleast a-million-$$ condos in Georgetown. Oh well, gotta love it! lol

titan56 that aint always true my dad was General in the cabinet of reagan and he is a good guy he doesnt have any of those problems and neither can anybody in his company I know I had to do the employment sheey it asks questions about all those things
