race with an angel
Ok, well It's not much of a race. Just had to take a pic with one of the angels. It's one from last year that they parked down at the end of the flight line.

Always great to see the Angels (or Thunderbirds) but that bird looks like a ground maint trainer(?), since the paint looks a little faded. Otherwise, great combo - power and speed!

I don't know, we have a bunch of Marine Corps super-hornets on base right now and it does take them a few seconds to turn all of that extra fuel in the combustor can into forward motion.
now the catapult... that's a different story.

oh shortty!!! that's too funny!!! here i got a picture of you in your new YELLOW lambo yesterday, you didn't recognize me because i was in my sentra loaner car. the beast is getting the permanent brake fix!!!
 Ensclark, cool Pics!! we get the Angels here at Miramar(formerly known as:Top Gun) and i see them practicing over our skies all during the week before the show on the weekends... they're amazing!!! you couldn't fit a titan sideways through some of their stunts with the wings almost touching... amazing!!! |
